I had to get rid of my "Crotch Rocket" due to the fact that over here the cops get a hard on pulling these over as one will always get a ticket for one reason or another to build up revenue for the local police force and I was sick and tired of getting pulled over at least once every 2 weeks..Sold it and decided on a chopper for my 60 mile trek back and forth to work! I figure if I have to go within the speed limit , I may as well get a cruiser as not to draw attention to myself as I did on my monster ZX10R whic,h was made to take off like a bat out of hell! If i get 2more points on my lisence. I lose it so i ended up with a 1300 cc yamaha chopper. So excited for the deilvery on Friday and looking forward to the trek back and forth to work every day on it!! Just felt like sharing something else besides guitar on here. Hopefully I'll be a good boy and not get in any more trouble on my bikes! This thing is a fukkin beast and I see trouble ahead.... Wish me luck as the wife insists she's not bailing me out of jail if I act like I did in the past on my bikes! lol

After my last foot crushing fiasco Jeanette says no more bikes.

Sometimes I really miss the ride though.

When you get tired with that bike, I have a friend who loves her DUCOTI, I don't know how to spell it, she hates her big cruiser cause it just won't go fast. [She weighs about 90 lbs]

Ummm.... plenty of law inforcement relatives and friends... their motto is "Nothing's faster than a simple radio" You might be able to out run a police cruiser but there will be 10 of them a mile ahead dying to fuk you up! Plus I take the same route back and forth to work every day. Don't wanna be Bubbas best friend if ya know wot I mean!

Back in the 70s a crazy mechanic friend and I took a "modified" Plymouth Fury from Haverill MASS to the GW bridge in NY. Mind you it was 2am. Mind you we passed so many state troopers on coffee break. Its a 5 hour drive without traffic. Mind you you would never be able to do this today. Go look it up on a map.

We did it in 2 1/2 hours. The only time we had to drop to 120 was approaching the GW bridge. That was almost 37 years ago. Boy did we suck down gas.

I had a 350 2 stroke Yamaha in '85. Had to lean my head forward on take off or feel my brain go to the back of my head. Sold it before I kilt myself. In March of 2001 I got a Suzuki 800 Marauder (cruizer). Missed my crotch rocket after a while. In April of that year they Sprayed tar then applied crushed pea gravel and in no direction from my house for about 9 miles without that crap. Couldn't do more that 35 mph. in 55mph zones. that was the first and last time they've done that since. Elton John got a rice grinder- now they call him Crotch- Rocket man!
