Thank you for your insight, Chaeya. It's been a trip just in the past few days. The first bass player who contacted me, ended up being a total flake by not calling, or even emailing. I've been corresponding with another bass player, and so far, so good, but nothing to scream about yet, cause we still need to set up a jam.

Now, I left the drummer an email last night, and called him to see if he got my email. i left a very brief message telling him that I would record a guitar song tonight and have it to him tomorrow. I wish he would have responded, but, I'll just have to go through with the recording and hope he likes it. When I first spoke with him, he asked me "so, that IS you playing guitar...right?" Weird.

The whole time I've been keeping everyone who has seemed interested up to speed on everything. If it was me on the receiving end, I would be stoked knowing that something was taking place that I could be a part of...but that's just me.

Now, the guy I recorded a song with at his studio with didn't call today. I'm gonna relax about that one though. He gave me a real rough draft with no vocals of the song we did, and he said to keep the song to myself, and I told him he had my word. I'm a little confused. He said maybe I could join his other band with the ex-member of Underoath, but I took that with a grain of salt cause I know it's just about conflicting issues within the unit. He never got around to saying anything regarding playing in my band. Too bad, cause we seem to get along and work real well together.

Overall, I can tell there's trust barriers that need to be broken. Things are different from when I started out. Things used to be innocent, fun, and enthusiastic. Now, a lot of things are looked at suspiciously, and not believable.

I mean, I'm having a hard time trusting too, but I got to put myself out there. I've had my master tapes ripped off from a recording studio...etc. Bands I looked up to that I played with weren't cool, and a lot of times were too "cool" to even speak to my band. I want to have comradrie. To be drama free, and be part of a team. Anything else would be torture. i would have a better time playing by myself.

I hope everything pans out. Playing live, or even practicing is when everything will be solid. Heck, just tell me that you're in, and let's do this!

I wish Hayden would come out and join...he would be the guy who would be dedicated, and cool about things.

I understand your apprehension with the 40 year old teenager. But, the guy that does my recordings has no credit cards, no checking account. He has a small income but it keeps his head above water. It seems so weird to me, livin' in California and all. But he lives in an apartment near the ocean. he has no financial problems. So even though it seems like he needs to grow up a bit. But he is very good at what he does. If that helps at all.

I would be honored Mary! In fact, I already bragged about it on my FB page...that's what FB is for, isn't it? I'm more than flattered!

What goes up must come down. Any time I have great positives in my life, I watch for the sh*t to hit the proverbial fan. I f this is the worst you have to encounter the thank God for that too. Family is a quirky animal. Like my Jack Russle terrior, She can be cute as a button, asking for a bone. If I try to take it back, I get the message that she would rather bite my hand off. No one but family will show you love like my Jack Russle "Abby".
