It is a custom Danelectro Bellzouki model 7010, 99% sure on this, George Harrison had one also when he was in India.

There were a lot and I mean a lot of retro fits in the 50's and early 60's

I just like the look of it. That teardrop shape is classy! I wonder how it plays & sounds...

I played a cpl Ovation solid-body 12's, & was amazed at the action.

Just looked it up. The Masonite puts me off of this instrument. I have a Dano 6 string. It sounds a lot like a Telly, cuzza the lipstick pups, but has virtually no sustain, cuzza that horrible body.

I also wanted to add the Danelectro Bellzouki model 7010 neck was retro fitted to a phantom teardrop body.
