I like the videos, not into the music. I started out with hip hop and left it alone after Tupak and Biggie died. Once in a while I'll check something out, like Eminem, Missy Elliot or I acknowledge some phenomenal beats or raps, but it isn't often.
The problem with hip hop, it stopped takin me there. Just folks reproducing the same ole stuff without bringing something new to the table. It's not strong like Reggae where you can just listen to the same old rhythm and not care. There was a time when it was evolving, but after like 2004, it just seemed to stop.
But what do I know, there's people who really dig it, so if that's what you like, man, do it.
