To tell the truth, I never really wanted to. It really has always been about the music and the personalities behind the music for me. I've always wanted to see a show without colored lights. All that stuff has always distracted me from the music.
Didn't realize until recently it could be sensory issues. Too much stuff going on is a bit overwhelming for me. Too bad virtually everyone uses lights at the very least. I would love to see a really good band with all the house lights on. No colored lights, no spotlights.
Just damned good and tight music.

Just go to any DIY punk gig for that. Warehouses, living rooms, VFW halls, basements, parking garages, storage spaces, etc.
I've always been leery of using ANY theatrics in music. But, playing noise has kinda loosened me up to it. Working on using projections and backdrops.
