I played last night at the Hideaway, at an open mic.
There's a local guy I've been hearing a lot about, Paul Pfau, that I'd really been wanting to see. He was there, hosting.
He's a young guy, yet he knew more blues than I did ('twas a blues jam). Very personable. Doesn't mind sharing the stage with us old guys. He's a very good guitar player & front man.
They let me play for almost an hour, I think, finishing out the jam.
Had a great time, & the music was good.
There's a recording of it on reverbnation, but I can't get it to play...
There were two sax players on stage, & three guitars, a singer, drums & me at the end of the night. Lotsa fun!
