I bought a second amp to keep in the house so I can practice when it gets unbearable hot or cold out in my studio.
Well it's hotter than hades out in my shop right now.
And my wife ... is watching the TV where my back up amp is. :?

Thats just sad , so sad. It must be hot down there , have you thought about putting in a top of the line system to cool your studio. Throw up a couple of solar panels and it becomes free.

My shop is 30x40 and insulated. Pool table, refrigerator. My little A/C works great till it gets summer then it just cost money to be hot. I've got plans to put in a ceiling and update my little A/C unit but for now I'll just have to wait till it cools off some.
Going to pick me up a big shop fan tomorrow at the farm and ranch supply place. That will make it bearable out at the shop in the evenings but you can forget it during the mid day.
I guess I'm just going to have to get used to using headphones.

I hate using headphones.

She'll be working tomorrow though, and I'm off. 8)

That is frustrating. Texas does NOT mess around when it comes to heat. I'll be down that way next month! Just to see family in Austin.

being in central Florida I know the feeling, you know it's hot when you have fans, and the air coming off of them feels hot. My band used to practice out in my garage, but the heat was too unbearable, and I couldn't even open the garage door, A. because the noise was too much for my neighbors, and B. the Mosquitoes make you not notice the heat that much, which is saying something. lol. Texas, and Florida are both unbelievably uncomfortable in the summer.

Sorry to hear that mate. I do know how you feel I'm situated in the top most vestibule, it gets hot as hell up here sometimes. I do have an air con so I'm more fortunate than you though I've not fitted it yet.

Hope it cools soon enough for you pal.
