Here in my city, they reduced human bank tellers and replaced them with machines that count money and scans checks. Also, the grocery stores have reduced cashiers and replaced them with self-check-out counters. The most recent change was replacing all the parking meters to meters that accept credit cards. The parking downtown is $4 for 1/2 hour... who has that many quarters?

In the end of the day, you have used your atm/bank card at least a dozen times. Each time will have a service charge attached to it.

Now that's where I draw the line in the sand, jsantos. You gov't is forcing you to pay into a system for "convenience." I would raise unholy hell over that, myself, in the papers, in the rest of the media, & in the courts.

How DARE they!

$500.00 for the hit, $1.50 for the bullet.
Life's just not fair.

For a long time I paid cash for EVERYTHING I did local.
Now I just pay it through my bank. (bills n such)

If I had more free time I'd go back to cash despite it being expensive to make the rounds.
Up one side of the street paying down the other side making excuses. :(
