"But archaeologists actually traced the latest door back to a much older, distant tomb constructed for a man called User, chief minister of Queen Hatshepsut, who was herself one of ancient Egypt's few female rulers and its longest reigning, from 1479 to 1457 B.C. "
Evidently she was also a time traveler. And a very slow one at that.

I found that puzzling, too Chip, until I started to read a little more about it. There are parallels throughout the world that have mystified ppl.
The pyramids, for example. WHY are the angles, the slopes of the sides, the same throughout the world? The angle is the same in the Egyptian, the Mayan, AND the Chinese pyramids. There must have been some common force, perhaps an alien visitor, to show these ppl what to do, right?
Not necessarily. If you look at that angle, & study ancient ruins & fallen down buildings ("tells," when they become mere hills), you'll see that the way they fall together matches that very angle! The ancients were smart, in all these civilizations! They studied what nature would do to thier buildings, & built them so they couldn't fall down!
So, you find the exact slope on most pyramids.

Slacker... you do of course realize that B.C. time counts DOWN, right?
Not ribbing you, lots of folks just never had that explained to them.
B.C. (Before Christ) Time counts down to what they thought was Christ's birth... and then starts counting up from that point to present date adding A.D. "anno domini" which means "in the year of our Lord" in Latin.

I'm sure you are right Phil they were very smart indeed. However there is a tendency to subscribe an object as a familiar to another purely because it is there. There are a plethora of people in Discovery Channel over the last few years getting acclaim for new theories, many if which are shapes in the clouds.
There are others who study scientifically who get less press but they are very near the numbers. 'Stargate' Did more harm than good in reality. Yes it expanded thoughts but it also negated a real possibility of anything since we are all now convinced through a film.
I'll never have the money but my Studio would be a Pyramid of stone. Solid against the elements if founded correctly, great acoustics, and as you say appears to line up with the Suns rays.
Emhotep.

Some of that "matching slope" could be explained as that's the angle you arrive at that works. No matter how you pronounce math, 2+2=4 and 45 degree angles support better than 60 degree ones.
Some of the common themes found between Mayan and Aztec Ziggurat ring truer thru other civilizations like the Java "Pyramids" and the earliest ones found in Mesopotamia which are supposed to be the origins of the Babel Tower Story. They were large buildings for public ritual or use.
The Egyptian Pyramids were unique among large structures for their time in shape and effort involved for purely burial purposes. Later they were copied by more recent civilizations that had heard of them, like Greece, then Rome for decorative reasons.

Zacharia Sitchin a Jewish Scholar may provides an answer to Chippy and Philby questions, he's a Biblical historian, and expert in ancient languages. Sitchin has been translating Sumerian language written approx 2k years before the Bible on clay tablets called Cuneo forms. From these translations a narrative emerges which he wrote books about it.
The narrative mirrors’ the Bible but predates it, in the events occurred in the pre-Bible period the Sumerian narrative says yes to Philby question, there were common denominators who they were, why they came, what they did and where on Earththey did it.
If anybody is into these stuff YouTube has a12parts? video where the whole translations can be read.

Oh him yes. I know his works very well indeed. A constant thorn to anyone on a dig anywhere I have to say but never mind that is another matter and he's entitled to his view and the money he makes from it through sales.

Not just him there are others too. A scientist on the TV yesterday said they were open to the idea of Aliens but that they would like some evidence please LOL!
Henry Rawlinson (Apparently) deciphered the text in the first instance in 1857. I don't think Hitchin is that old? (Had to look this up of course). Just like Egyptian Hieroglyphics however someone always says they have a better answer, always accompanied by a brand new shiny book.
I didn't have to look that up Lol!

Dewy,
I didn't even take that into consideration. Just a blond moment on my behalf.
