Every situation is different. Context is king.

Somehow, some have misunderstood my position here apparently.

The "end" NEVER justifies the "means". Period.

That does not, however, presuppose (as some have) that it is ALWAYS moral, to follow laws.

To clarify...

It is WRONG to do something IMMORAL (The Means), even if it ends up having a beneficial consequence (The End). That said, lying to a criminal about whether there was anyone else in your house, in order to protect children who were hiding, would "NOT" be immoral, in my view.

Similarly, not folowing laws requiring turning Jews into authorities, would also "NOT" be immoral.

I don't think it is immoral to violate immoral laws.

To my mind if the cause is just then the outcome is more important than the path that leads to it.

Example: Killing is wrong. But if you must kill 10 bastards to save an innocent. So be it.

We as a country got all bent out of shape over "water boarding".
That's child's play compared to what I would do to save my family.

Yeah Craig, what Philby said,,,,, Laws don't mean a flocking thing.
Just give me some gold and a gun,,,,
ANARCHY RULES.
Long live the strong,,,,,The only good law is a dead law,and sometimes that includes inlaws.

Let me get this straight..... A 15 year old girl kidnapped and killed the
thirteen year old brother of a 19 year old because he refused to have sex with her. What is this world coming too. It's plain to see the older brother should have bought a gun,and robbed a bank,,,,then he would have had enough money to pay her off. Then when he got out of jail in 3 years, for good behavior he could hook up with her as she now be 18, and no laws would have been broken.
That is untill she tries to hook up with his younger brother who is underage.
