Hey John, there's a band here in Detroit called Reverend Rightime and The First Cousins of Funk, very similar, they play nothing but funky dance music and do pretty good. I agree, if you want to be successful playing covers you better give the folks what they want.

Hey, JW, that reminds me of a band around here called "Soul Doubt," which is sold out at every performance. They do Motown & funk, mostly.
