I just got my tix! June 20 at The Fillmore here in Detroit. If you haven't seen God's Guitarist you should, he's amazing.

Peter Gabriel is in NYC later this year. No way I can see him since the price is way out of my league. Hope you enjoy it though Jimmeah.

Nice one. :D

Peter Gabriel was the most expensive concert I've paid to see. I paid $126 for row 13. I'd probably pay it again, he's awesome.

Yes they are the seats I was looking at. Just can't do it but I'm sure you are right, it would be awesome.
I've asked both him and Genesis via fan mail to swing by the tristate again :D

Enjoy that show Jimmy. Ive seen Beck a couple of times and he just amazes me, the amount of tones he gets out of a guitar a couple of stomp boxes, and plays with his fingers. He is jsut awesome, a lot of younger guitarist should check him out. Last time I saw him he threw in a few tapping deals that would make any shredder swoon.

I guess you can tell Im jealous. I need to check and see if he is stopping in Nashville again.

You jealous John, no way! BTW tix were very reasonable, under $50. I had heard a rumour that he was going to tour with Clapton but it must have been one of those damned internet hoaxes.

Gods guitarist, or someone elses Jimmy?
You know, he claims to not even play guitar between shows and touring.

Jimmy when I went home last night and was channel surfing. They had a special 1 hour show of Jeff Beck in a big club. Eric Clapton sat in. When they showed the crowd it looked like British Rock Royalty, Page and Plant were seen. I forget how good he is til I see him up close like that. Its amazing to me that hes able to keep that strat in tune. Have fun at the show!

I saw him a few years ago from Row 6. Terry Bozzio on drums and Tony Hymas on keys, no bass player. Mind blowing!

He's doing 13 shows in the states, 9 of them in April and the other 4 in June.

He's going to be at Bonnaroo, which I have tickets for. Definitely going to try to check him out.
