At the risk of getting the guys embroiled into the feud again. I am referring to what is considered good music as opposed to terrible music...since it is an art form rather than science..it is hard to judge good from bad..although I struggled with math, at least when you were done with your "work".it was either true(good) or false (bad)..

But.....some of the points to consider within a musical presentation could be impeccable timing, smooth rhythm,.ability to hit notes cleanly and succinctly..cleanliness, slop,..imagination...notes that "fit well"?..so if a guy is doing all this well..yet it just sounds strange..it could be judged good cause the technique, taste, creativity is there but it just sounds strange?..off the point a little but Nazis had no right to judge art as unacceptable just because it was not classical and music Wagnerian..

and i agree, music and all art (and my mental state) are all highly subjective.

and i agree that the criteria you list are all factors most would include in our judgement of what's good and what isn't it.

and i agree the nazis, wrong about so many things, were also looney tunes in destroying countless and copius amts of artwork.
