Do what works, stop doing what doesn't work. Stop letting kooks deliver your message for you. Alex Jones? Really?
First of all, Conservatives seem to be the only people working within the rules for the last few decades. What are you talking about?
And Alex Jones is not regarded as a voice for conservatives any more than the dumb Ocasio socialist chick in New York is a voice for NFL Quarterbacks
.
You're the one defending Alex Jones, not me. Why give that douche the time of day? Avoid him at all costs. Telling school shooting victims they're really just "crisis actors"? That's incredibly scummy, wouldn't you say?
What I mean about the rules of the game is this. We all know that the "mainstream media" is 100% liberal and they'll cut you off at the knees over anything at any time. But it's not like you didn't know that, right? So you stay on message, connecting with the voters in "flyover country" who were always going to vote for you and do anything and everything to avoid alienating moderate "swing voters" who are desperately needed to win elections, especially in the electoral college.
Stop sending out tweets like this...
Stop coddling white supremacists. Stop harping on the NFL flag stuff. It's all a losing issue at this rate. Focus on getting something passed by the Congress before you lose it. Anything. Please.
In the meantime, liberals have the electoral college to bitch about and that isn't changing anytime soon either. Would you rather control the press or get your candidate for president elected with a minority vote (twice in 5 elections)? Which is more valuable? Which one allows you to game the system and still come out on top?
