Yeah his comment sounds stupid at face value... but I believe his point in the end was you need ID for many things you do in life... why not to vote?

BTW, I'm all for IDs required to vote. In my town, there's no ID required, but they have a list of residents/addresses. You show up, tell them your address, they check it, check you off the list (so you can't vote twice), done.

I see past the idiotic statement...(I'm use to it by now) in the end it's crystal clear to me. He wants an id requirement to vote... Hyperbole Trump-speak or whatever you want to call it is focusing on the wrong thing....

Yes, they check my ID when I buy my alcohol at the grocery store with the rest of my groceries and later, I do drink it or cook with it. Recently, they changed the law so you can no longer use the self-checkout at the grocery store if you have alcohol in your cart so the ID does get checked more often. In addition, if my new debit card happens to have not arrived in the mail, they will ID me for writing a check to pay for my groceries.

I doubt they 'changed the law'. Here, you just need to call the store attendant over to clear the self-checkout age thing. The store you go to probably doesn't want to be bothered doing that, so just makes you go to a manned register instead.

you may not, but there are plenty who would define "wickedness" as the separating of young children from their parents, kissing Putin's ass, inviting Russia to hack into our system, allowing the rape of our environment to allow Trump's donors to make even more money at the peril of the health and welfare of our children, Trump's mocking the disabled, dissing P.O.W.'s, and so many, many more things that might be defined as "wicked".
