Mother Jones? Wow. That's Lame-ass with a capital L. I bet that was as accurate as listening to little chucky schumers stats. Totally contrived and stacked.
Why don't you use the police and FBI stats on the gun deaths in the most gun prohibitive cities in the nation. For instance give us the stats of gun deaths in liberally run cities like New Orleans, Detroit, Baltimore, Oakland, Chicago, and St Louis. Cite the cities that have the toughest gun laws. And then look up the number of deaths in the cities where they have the least prohibitive gun laws.
Break down the gun deaths on those phony charts and you will find that most gun deaths in America are self inflicted. But I guess that with a liberal mindset that is the only way people could commit suicide. What manner of legislation would stop that? How many of those deaths on that map were at the hands of separate individuals having guns, not one man killing many with a single gun? How many mass murders did NRA members commit? Not a one. That fact-less mother jones map doesn't depict anything except a bunch of contrived implications designated by red dots on a map. Gobble gobble gobble or you wouldn't have posted it.
When you depict a mass murder like the church murders be sure to point out that it was one insane individual who should have been stopped by the background checks already on the books. But the GOVERNMENT failed to enter the critical data that would have stopped him from obtaining those guns legally in the first place. The same people screaming for more gun control and tougher background checks are the idiots that screw up the background checks. Just who, do you suppose, is going to write legislation to cover government incompetence? And remember the fact that (obviously ignored by Pravda) the man who shot the murderer and kept him from murdering many other people shot him with the same model of firearm the murderer used.
They will eventually come for the guns. As have all Communist, Marxist, and Socialist regimes. They will deal with those who try to keep their guns for self defense as they dealt with them in other Communist, Marxist, and Socialist regimes. Then they will come for the people who do not subscribe to their totalitarian oppressive rule. They shall throw them in prison and some will simply disappear during the middle of the night, as they have in all Communist, Marxist, and Socialist regimes. Then eventually they will find a reason to come for you if you don't agree with their heavy handed murdering tactics. Just as they have done in all Communist, Marxist, and Socialist regimes.
They will tell you where you must live. I have read that demoncraps have already written such housing legislation for some "trial" cities. They will tell you what color to paint your house and maybe even what you can have to furnish it. They may try to teach you that it is wrong for you to live in your own house or to own property. Or have they already taught you that? Then they will say you can't have a car because cars pollute. They may let you have an electric car but you won't have a place to charge it. The kooks you support already have proposed such things.
Ever have you seen a picture of bicyclists traveling down the country roads in China? That's how they get around but do you believe it is their choice? They may tell you that your guitar amp and PA waste too much electricity. The list will go on until you object. THEN they will come for you. But if you endure your new life as a brain-dead zombie you may survive and find your new lifestyle tolerable. But best of all, criminals will still have guns and you will be at their mercy because no other citizens will have guns that may threaten them in their lawlessness.
Have you ever heard of the Chinese or Russian mafias? How about the Mexican drug gangs? Any gun violence there other than that which is committed by their own corrupt government? No guns allowed in those countries. Citizens with guns protect you through their simply having them, but you can't understand that because it isn't in the propaganda machine.
That's how things work in most civilizations where citizens don't own guns. Sometimes other countries invade them because the citizens do not offer any threat to their armies.
It all sounds like utopia but I won't be around to see it although you might still be around. The left keep pushing and pushing towards their end goal. But no one knows what that end goal is, even they don't know. They will simply keep pushing and pushing until life is completely intolerable. And then they will push even more to meet their undefined goal of which no one can envision, for it does not exist.
