I was up late last night. I feel so good today. My Pops took me to the Astrodome to watch the Astros shortly after it opened. I think they had just renamed the team from the Colt 45’s back then. I have followed them off and on since then. When I was a boy, I was in the Astros Buddy Club. My Astros Buddy was Norm Miller. Houston has always been the underdog in sports. When the Rockets won back to back Championships back in the 90’s President Bill Clinton did NOT invite them to the White House. We are use to being treated like red headed step children! It is so nice and rare when Houston and Texas wins something of this magnitude!
