Yes they are. But they've practiced this stuff. That guy probably backs that trailer through that garage door every day, maybe more than once. And it's pretty nice that he has a football field of room to himself to do it. just sayin

No. I'm an accomplished truck driver (18 years, no accidents). Accomplished guitarist? Not so much.

all I can say Slacker, is I can check with the inspection CDL test station out on old Route 66 near Strafford and ask if they have film when I passed my Class A CDL driving test back in 1998? we had to do serpentine, blind side back and paralell park, and a road test, better not forget to use a turn signal..LOL

no sir, those things and more in Missouri are required skills to get a Class A CDL, don't know how lax Arizona is in requirements to drive a truck commercially on a public highway... maybe anybody can do it (drive commercial trucks) in Arizona without tests? :D

I some day want to drive a big rig with a load of t-bone steaks to Hunt's Point sealed and watch "them" jump on the back of the trailer smashing the seal off and helping themselves to BBQ meat.. just once.. :)

One of my writer pals is a truck driver. His stuff is great and his titles rock, "convoy of carnage?" Yeah! His name is David Simpson and we did a book signing together. He promised beautiful woman and free drinks and damned if he didn't deliver.

I haven't parallel parked a 50 footer in 40 years. Thanks for posting that Slacker. I completely understand the skills required by these 40 foot beverage trucks being backed into spaces most people couldn't drive a car.
Granted the turning axis is much slower on a large trailer , but it still requires incredible ability to do the complicated math involving time and space in your head.
Just for fun... I love watching people launching their boats at the ramps. Backing short trailers in can be difficult.
Want to laugh, go watch some of the many videos on line. Boats sinking because of no plug, cars being pulled into the water on slippery ramps, it goes on and on.
Thanks for posting that Slacker.
