Another Hallmark card holiday...
But it is a day to pause for a second to count you blessings.
My father is long gone, but the memories good and bad remain. It is what it was.
So now I'm the father.
Instead of celebrating me, it gives me me pause to instead, celebrate my kids.
I know that in strange ways it is just a matter of fortunate luck to raise children in a good way.
Today is not about me as a father... I've been blessed.

I had a great fathers day with my gimp arm and all. Seriously though, my son his girlfriend and myself and my girlfriend went to the Doobie Brothers/Chicago concert. Both bands put on one of the best shows I have been to!
