when the muzzies get to the numbers in populations here in the U.S. they will take our country over legally by voting rights...ban their voting rights too, they ACT like they like you, until their numbers are high enough to start bullying you.. and then they will start voting in their own agendas.. sad

We can discriminate on the basis of crimes and threat. Most muslims coming to America are trying to escape the same things you don't want to come here. We should let them, as long as they agree to abide by our laws.

maybe this is related maybe not, but yesterday I was reading about the Mormons in the 1830's when they were attempting to make Independence, Mo. the area to be receptive to Jesus when he returns.. maybe it was not Independence, Mo. but in the general area of where Kansas City sits today.. the Mormons were driven out of Missouri because the oriiginal old settlers thought they the Mormons through sheer numbers arriving to that area, would soon be able to vote in their own agendas , vote in their own COURTS, vote in their own MAYOR, vote in their own ZONING COMMISSION, etc. etc. and Joseph Smith and his followers weer big fans of the Native Americans , that upset the original settlers too, even talk of freeing the slaves, since Joseph Smith looked down on the original settlers manners. intellect, customs, ignorance, etc. (it's documented) so what did the original settlers of Missouri do, who were from the hills and non-arable lands of the South do.. ?? they got rid of SOMETHING THAT WAS GOING TO EVENTUALLY ROCK THE BOAT!,, I stand firm in my conviction I hate a multi-cultural U.S. call me a bigot, call me a racist, but the founding fathers could not foresee this since it was all about being from Europe back then, not the middle east etc.. sorry.. I feel that way, working on it, but old embedded ideas and growing up in a land where there were not others other than Caucasians molded me into something I can not change.. I hate seeing change..sorry

and if you read the previous post and decide Dayne is a racist, ? no he is not, he just wants the culture he was born into and grew up around to be the culture that is passed on to other Americans, I will be dead and gone , but having a Muslim culture mixing with a Protestant/Catholic/Jewish culture will mix about as well as oil into water..we think about religion too differently, we think about treatment of criminals too differently, (we don't cut hands off for simply stealing a piece of fruit cause of hunger), we don't believe in multiple marriages and stealing young girls by slavery (think Yazidis) just too different to mix culturally, ...

Wow Dayne, sounds like you have had a great life!
Being from Houston I almost can't imagine not being exposed to other cultures. My parents divorced when I was 6. My dad married a woman from Columbia. She was a wonderful stepmother that immigrated here to the U.S. the right way, she assimilated into our culture. Spanish was spoken fluently throughout the household. I did get to spend summers with my grandmother in Arkansas. I loved those days all of it.
Ted I find your post interesting being that Muslims have persecuted your ancestors. I find it disheartening that the media is turning the fact that President Trump is basically using Obamas research of hostile nations that would most likely infiltrate the refugees seeking to come here and dramatizing it to fit their narrative!

I choose to give all people benefit of the doubt individually. Have no preconceived bias until they show themselves to be dishonest. I hate bullies and perverts no matter where they come from, and as I've said many times, I prefer conversing with people that I disagree with. Just more interesting, if they're civil about it.

In medieval times, Muslims and Jews lived in harmony compared to Christians and others. The safest time for Jews in modern history was under the Ottoman Turks.

The islamic terrorism problems we see now didn't really start before Arafat. Sure, the arabs have always been warring people, but not religious terrorists.

The terrorist groups do things to make us suspect all muslims and treat them like terrorists. well, how would you like being treated badly just for being a christian? You'd probably feel isolated, and eventually you'd have to side with "your people" even if you don't like them, just for survival's sake.

Call me a hopeless humanist but I think we can win hearts and minds if we're patient and kind. We play right into the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood when we lump them all together. That's all I'm saying.

If it turns out that they aren't going to assimilate or try to get along....then we can hang 'em all Texas style! (just kidding of course)

Yeah, we should bring in more people that will NEVER assimilate or accept our nations laws and customs because they are a nation based on a religion and only accept Sharia law as being God inspired. If not then they are not Muslim. Other than that I can only see one other teensey weensy itsy bitsyy little problem.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I believed this nation was founded as a Christian nation. I believe that for that reason only God blessed it. But now I can just see God mulling the changes over in his mind and thinking. Yeah, why not expand yet another religion in America? I don't mind being the only deity. The more gods the merrier I always said, after all, I am rather progressive? I simply miss spoke when I said I was a jealous God.

That's how Israel felt until the God of creation mentioned that he wasn't particularly fond of a nation with many deities, and he did some pretty nasty things to them. But since then God has mellowed out and now believes that it's more politically correct to be kinder to other Gods and those who worship them.

Yeah I know, at the founding of America there were also other religions. But they were not the religion upon which America was founded. Yeah, I know. Sounds old fashioned doesn't it? I guess it has been a long time since God was made welcome in our places of "learning", or almost any other place as far as that goes. But I'm sure he wants to give the other gods a fair shake. Besides, the God of Israel is mostly ignored and denied anyway so he's used to it. I don't think there is anything to be worried about though. God loves the ungodly nations too, isn't that right? None of those wrath problems for us in the relatively near future. Some Christians might agree.

By the way this isn't being prejudiced. It is simply having a fear of the Christian God of creation and knowing the destruction he has caused ungodly nations before. Am I making a big deal of it? Read the Bible some time.

You do know (I question this) that immigrants cannot vote until they become US citizens, right? Its a very involved procedure which includes high fees and questioning in front of a judge or appointed court officer.
