Rock and Roll

Rock and Roll

There were once two boulders that would ram each other every day. One of them was named “”Rock” and the other was named “Roll”. They fought over how the Quarry should be run

Rock said it should be a small collective of “experienced” rocks making decisions for the vast masses of pebbles and dust. They are too ignorant to know what is best for them anyway.

But Roll said the quarry should be many individual pieces allowed to compete in the market place of ideas, no matter how ignorant some might end up being. We don't need professional boulders anyway.

Both views had merit and weakness so in the beginning this fight between Rock and Roll was seen as a nuisance to most who lived in the quarry. We stopped paying attention long ago, thinking it didn’t matter.

But then the fight between Rock & Roll got violent. Someone started lying to us and we weren't able to discern that deception was coming from every direction, because the Rolling Stone who gave us periodic reports were intentionally misleading us to help Rock or Roll win the fight dishonestly.

We are turning on each other without noticing who has been throwing these stones for a long time....

The end?

We'll probably just have other topics to argue about on January 21 so keep thy sword in thy sheath. I am not thine enemy, and doth not consider thou to be mine.

Face it.

Hillary and Trump are both dangerous outcomes and America is only temporary anyway. So if you don't have hope in the Lord then my next best advice is to eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die.

Yod ... great Thread and Post. Some seem to be stuck in the 60's ... probably the best part of their life ... eat out of Mommies fridge, smoke dope, do drugs, screw girls, build up your ego while listening to Jimmie Hendrix ... wear some bell bottoms, drink beer and smoke more pot while laying in the Park. Those were the days for many people who are now so poisoned, polluted, dumbed down and conditioned that they even feel "comfortable" denying the Truth, Reality and believe it of not their Creator.

I like you, Jimmy. You are going to hate the day you find out how wrong you were.

You will remember that I tried, and yet remain available.

you inspired a verse:

We all view the world from what we see around us
You see it your way, I see it mine
While we're fighting no one sees the danger up ahead
Is not the thing we're watching at the time

A ? 4 on the floor beat?

Uhh... most people who were doing that in the 60s are now close to (or more than) 70 years old, collecting SS and not even cognizant of the current political climate.

Jookeyman ... good statements but the reality is that they are far too idealistic to now describe the Country. Transgender bathrooms, abortions both walking and murdered, a purposeful plan laid by EVIL long ago and skillfully, patiently put into practice. Now on the cusp of unpleasant Death and decietful Distraction the world teeters upon the Abyss and asses bray in the Halls of "Government" as they are in their own stupidity and greed nothing more than tools of extinction. You are Noble, Righteous, Fair and Equitable and that makes you eventually an Enemie of State. It is a pleasure to me to share the same Forum with you and I shall always remember much of what you have stated so well in the face of the rampant adversity which abounds all around and grows by the second now.

The biggest problem with Clinton is SO huge that, yes, I'd even vote for Trump.

If she wins, the USA will have submitted our sovereignty to George Soros. He recently had his lap dog, Obama, surrender the internet to him and now has that power over all of us.

It is an existential threat to everyone in America for him to have absolutely power.

He (and everyone who obeys him including Clinton) is the arrogant despot behind the atheist bigots who have come out of the sewers since Al Gore. He would love nothing more than to jail (or otherwise rid) Christians and Jews who have a religious conviction of any sort.

In short, a Clinton victory is the triumph of evil, and the end of any pretense of fairness in America

Glenny - You should try to remember that if you don't stir sh*t up it won't stink. I have to call you out on this one, because rui didn't say anything to you, and you should have had no reason to stir up more trouble. I realize you two have had a long running animosity, but it makes no sense to stir it up when no personal attack against you was made or implied. You are standing on much more solid ground if you wait until it is aimed in your direction, rather than trying to land the first blow. Just my take on it, no insult or personal attack intended.

Ted - I have to say you have a pretty good bead on this one. I'm more enthusiastic about a Trump vote than you are, but everything you stated seems pretty accurate to me. I've seen few who have made the Soros connection in relation to the Internet giveaway, but you're not the first by any means. Maybe too many distractions, they haven't really thought it through. But I tend to think that's accurate. Obama and Clinton are his puppets, that is a pretty well accepted view. Given the large amount of money he has put into the Democratic party, BLM, Move on dot org, occupy wall street and others, it should seem fairly obvious who they answer to. I think Valerie Jarrett is his middleman...or woman...she has the direct line to his ear. Obama, Clinton and others are mere puppets.

If Hillary manages to weasel her way into the white house, it can only be by cheating. simply look at the attendance at the two candidates' rallies, and that should be fairly obvious. Trump fills large stadiums with 10,000 or more, Hillary can barely fill half a basketball court. And Trump is still polling low or tied? Give me a break. The polls cannot be even remotely accurate. Reuters has already been caught rigging polls, I think I read an article the past few days about CNN doing the same, I consider all of them suspect.

I can't put too much weight on Internet polls, it's too easy for any person to vote multiple times. That's not a "scientific" method of conducting a poll. So the only litmus test we have is rally attendance. Judging by that, there is almost no enthusiasm for Hillary at all, and ten times the attendance at Trump rallies. So why is Trump polling so low? Has to be rigged polls.

Then consider the increased level of attacks on Trump the past week or so. There's an old saying. When you start taking on the most incoming, you're directly over the target. The recent attacks on Trump tell me they are getting desperate. They now know for sure he has a good chance of winning, and as we all know Hillary will do absolutely anything to hold on to her money and power, same for most politicians. So she and the rest of the career politicians who see their gravy train about to be derailed are grabbing at every little thing they can, throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks. The press is helping as much as they can, their gravy train is in danger of being derailed too. Anyone who doesn't think so can simply look at the political donations they have all made. When they throw up to $100,000 at a political party, they are going to protect that investment. All have donated to the Democrat party. And Trump has told them point blank their gravy train is in his sights.

The one that surprised me is John Boehner. Not only the fact that he publicly stated he is voting for Trump, he also made a very logical case for justifying his vote. I just saw him interviewed on Fox. I cant stand Brit Hume, but was too lazy to go change channels and just listened while playing games. Surprise of the day, I figured Boehner for a solid never Trump shill, he not only fooled me but made a good case for it. I just hope some of his cronies are listening. He said it was mostly based on one thing. Supreme court appointments. No trump attacks, although he did say he and Trump disagree on a number of issues, but seemingly without malice. He also noted that Trump will be facing a lot of opposition in Congress, and will have an uphill struggle to get much done, a point I've tried to make a number of times.

OK I'll stop rambling...

As I've said before, I think Donald is a good American but a bad candidate.

The GOP should be mopping up in double-digit leads against the Dems. But no....we have a huge slow target for a candidate that just can't seem to stop flapping his mouth and falling into the obvious traps. He keeps changing the subject when Hillary comes under the microscope because his ego can't let stupid accusations go.

If he simply stayed on message it wouldn't be close.

But I've never thought he would be able to, and now he's proving to be a liability for people who want real reform in DC at a crucial moment. The only good thing about this candidate is that he's proven Cruz is a wimp. I guess he was right about him after all.
