not Christian like at all.. Jesus said turn the other cheek.. this world is so temporal and should only be used as a learning ground, not as a motive for$$$$$$.. the $$$ gives you just a little more comfort.. but the human mind is conditioned to never be satisfied and keeps hording material wealth to deny those who really need it.. and the ones who really need it are not wired for this sinister place.. Jesus knew.. he talks about the followers would find no home here with the parable of the tares as a token lesson.. Jesus will allow the evil and the good to grow together and one will be the chaff nd destroyed and the other will be harvested and put in the granary..

Jesus NEVER denied us the right to self defense or the defense of others. You're taking that 'turn the other cheek' business out of context.

Jesus taught turning the other cheek during the Sermon on the Mount. Turning the other cheek, also known as offering [one's] cheek, is a phrase in Christian doctrine that refers to responding to injury without revenge

If I understand you correctly Dayne you're assuming Slacker said I would have shot him in the head? Did you click on the article and read it?

no, Slacker is a Christian and would not do that, on the other hand, there are people who call themselves Christians who would have shot in the head, and praised Jesus out of the other side of their mouth, while murdering somebody :) ..

It's not murder if you're protecting an innocent person, Dayne. It's called "heroic" then, and it's cowardice if you have the means to stop a murderer and do not do it.

"killing" and "murder" are not the same thing.

That's hilarious, Dayne. Sit around and wait to die because you're a Christian. With that worldview, you better move to Antarctica.

Yeah jookey I am talking to you. Since you want to start your whole premise with deep insults about beer....
You are not being objective and just stating facts.
Did you watch any of the DNC.
You should have been there giving a speech. Believe me...
