Glen ... do not take this the wrong way but before you go off on the Post previous to mine ... if you are so inclined ... check this out as it is a bit of an eye opener perhaps, At least a different perspective. Do you remember him on the cover of Life Magazine in that vault with all that money. A very powerful photo I always thought. No one can say that he was not a superb Boxer of the highest Order regardless...

I know, Vamp... It was black men that sold black men.
I didn't agree with his politics at all. My comment was that in a land of freedom he was able to overcome things that were maybe unfairly imposed. I shall not sit in judgement. However...
Roll it up and snort it obviously has brought some very prejudicial hatred to the table. Ali never brought down American buildings or killed American soldiers, or civilian population.
As I said at the beginning I didn't agree with his politics, but that streak of tolerance we both have was a dig at the the asssholes that don't understand, the importance of individual FREEDOM.
That statement does not make me a libertarian... Remember to have freedom you have to have tremendous personal responsibility and tremendous tolerance. rip snort may never get that.
Could be wrong, but I seem to remember Ali doing more good in his later life...

Well stated Glen. Yes, he did a lot of "good" things later which he did not have to do. Unlike the PussBags at Bilderberg.
