During a May 13 appearance on NBC’s Today, Katie Couric previewed her upcoming gun control documentary by claiming a silent majority of gun owners want more gun control.

Couric said these things during an interview conducted by Matt Lauer, who began the interview by countering FBI statistics and claiming mass shootings are on the rise. In September 2014, the FBI released a highly politicized study claiming a rise in mass shootings, only to have the authors of the study recant months later and admit they created data to make the study outcome fit a preconceived conclusion.

I don't want more gun control! I want more politician control. I propose every elected politician be SUBJECT to random DRUG and ALCOHOL testing. Further more they must pass a political physical examination that should include everything from evaluating mental health to possible death while in control of the law...

Sound crazy...

A commercial driver, pilot , and people of much less importance have to deal this regularly...

I think it's time to regulate the regulators.

The only silent majority who wish for more gun control are the criminals who are afraid that they may mistakenly attempt to rob someone who also has a gun.

Thanks Yod. On top of that I would have also made it very clear on muslim immigration policies. While everyone is screaming about how un-American that position is...

I would strongly remind them of the law of the land that many seem to ignore when it is a political bother.
I am talking about the 1952 McCarran- Walter act, Immigration and Nationality Act.
To complicate matters even more it was never challenged and actually used by PRESIDENT CARTER in 1979 to DEPORT 15000 IRANIANS that had violated our immigration laws
