I started to look for some of my favorite movies but since I own around 800 DVD movies (+) and I really like most of them. I guess I have a few that aren't that great but less than 30.clunkers, and on some days even those are OK. I decided to list a few of them but then I started getting writers cramp since I liked so many of them. I decided to list a few movies and then favorite Actors which is far easier. Anyone have more great westerns, who done its, spy movies and adventure flicks? More great actors?

Some Favorite movies

Blade Runner,Alien, Star Wars, Jeepers Creepers, Fright Night, MIB, The Dark Knight
Enemy at the Gates, Hollywood Homicide, A simple Plan, Fargo, Live and Die in LA, DOA
Cliff hanger, True Lies, Mr Brooks, Kill Bill 1&2, The Cleaner, The Game, LA Confidential
Heist, Freejack, Ruthless People (Too many good westerns to list)

I find that I liked almost every movie made staring these actors .....Just a few of the most prolific actors that turn out great movies almost every time.

Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Tommy Lee Jones, Morgan Freeman, Michel Douglas, Ashley Judd,
Jud Law, Harrison Ford, Billy Bob Thornton, Kevin Cosner, Antonio Banderas

WHAT??? No Madonna?? No Cher??

"North by Northwest", "Rear Window", "The Birds"

"Das Boot"

One movie that leaves me with bad memories is THROW MAMA FROM THE TRAIN. Wait ... This explains why PALE RIDER is a favorite.
Leaving the theater, five people were expressing concerns that their cars were missing. Funny thing is all were firebirds and camaros. Of course my new firebird was gone also. Victims of a chop shop.
Anyway...
The reason I love PALE RIDER is the last line from Clint...

"Long walk" and the reply, "Yup"... BIG SMILE... That was a lifetime ago.

Dustin Hoffman playing the part of Mr. Dega was not content on that island with his pigs, but he gave up trying to get back to a normal life, like so many other people content with their pigs.... those pigs have a nasty habit of driving their owners insane if left alone with them, with no other bodily contact, you do know their eyes are almost like human eyes?... their corneas can be implanted onto human eyes you know.. :?
