I'm going to keep disagreeing with you on this same as always. You've never been insulting about it so that's cool with me.
Yes Trump is still an outsider. Cruz is the one that's not. He worked for Bush a few years ago, hired a Bush not long ago, and caved in to the establishment not long ago when his campaign morphed from Elect Ted to Stop Trump. The bad moves he's made the past couple of days have been hail mary passes in a desperate attempt to deflect attention away from the fact that he got seriously trounced in 5 states Tuesday. The ill advised "collusion" with Kasich, then bringing in Carly Fiorina were both bad ideas. She's disliked almost as much as Cruz is, had a bad record as a CEO, lied about being a political outsider. She worked for McCain around 10 years ago, then had a position in the Republican finance committee, ran for the Senate and got trounced...that's not a political outsider. She's been up to her eyeballs in politics for at least 10 years. By the way Bernie Sanders is no outsider either, he's been a senator for 25 years, maybe more, I can't remember. He's been right there all those years, why haven't we seen him fighting against them until the past 8 or 9 months?
Trump has never held or even run for office. That's an outsider. He hit the ground calling the career politicians out for being incompetent and corrupt, which is why he's hated by Democrats, Republicans and the press. And has still come out ahead even though he has them all doing everything they can think of to bring him down.
So has Cruz ever built a 50 story building? Or anything at all? Any politician for that matter...
Has any of them ever had to coordinate conctrete, steel work, wiring, plumbing, flooring, tools and supplies and so forth for a project of that scope?
Has any of them ever had to meet payroll for 1000 to 1500 people or more week after week for 3 to 5 years to the end of a project?
And here's the best one, has any of them ever finished anything ahead of schedule and below budget? Trump's been doing it for 30 years.
The people of this country have spoken. We want a true leader, with a backbone and some economic sense, who is willing to fix what no politician will fix, because they are the ones who broke it. No I don't like everything Trump says, can't think of a time I ever did like everything any politician said. Mostly I haven't liked any of them at all for the past 30 years. I have no use for Democrats or Republicans, both have played their part in getting us where we are now, and they won't get us out of it. They don't want to, they only want to protect their gravy train, their money and power. Trump is a true leader, with a backbone, and has not only rocked the boat, he flipped it over and threw the paddles away. I can't wait till he goes toe to toe with Hillary...Cruz and Kasich are done. They just won't admit it yet. She's next to fall.
I was originally a Cruz fan as well, until he caved in to the Washington elites he pretends to be against. Never liked Carly at all to begin with, she has a surly look on her face most of the time that reminds me of a friend's pissed off ex wife. Her voice is almost as irritating as Hillary, and she's probably almost as good at lying. So Cruz did himself no favors this week. He's desperately trying to deflect attention away from his serious losses.
Cruz won't get us out of the mess we're in, nor will Hillary, they helped get us into it. No politician will. Trump is exactly what I've wanted to see for 20 to 30 years. Can't be bought, not a career politician, has the backbone to stand up to the status quo, speaks his mind, has more economic sense than any politician... I never dreamed it would be Donald Trump but I'll take it.
But I don't want him hanging a Trump sign on the white house...
