Lady Gaga put it over the top. Denver defense put it over the top.
Peyton has been a class act for a long time. Gotta give them all credit.

yeah, that was real classy......shilling for budweiser! twice. ....and from the podium???? damn, that was embarrassing.

for the record, i do like like Manning and was pulling for him and the Broncs. what a story book ending to an amazing career. but damn, that was just plain embarrassing.

i have to say that for me,the highlight yesterday might have been watching many of my sports heroes prior to the game as they were being honored as previous super bowl MVPs. it was great seeing Starr, Namath, Riggins, Belitnokoff, etc.

damn, that was some pretty elite company!

Congratulations to the Denver Broncos, their fans, and to the MVP Von Miller, a classmate of my son's at DeSoto High.

Going in, I thought both teams were evenly matched as defensive units, and Carolina had the best offense, even if Denver had the smarter quarterback. My prediction was Carolina 28-27 in a close game.

I am horrified by puppymonkeybaby, though.

Glad you mentioned that because she actually brought me to a few tears. Maybe the best rendition of the Anthem I've ever heard.

I once did that song for a conference in DC and it's a tough song to sing. She dripped with sincerity for the first couple of verses and then hit that note on "land of the free" effortlessly.

Kudos, lady. Kudos.

Lady Gaga did a fine job on the anthem but I think Whitney Houston did the best I have heard years ago!

Technically, there may never be another singer like Whitney. She was absolutely amazing and Lady Gaga was quick to point out that Whitney inspired her to sing the Star Spangled Banner as a child. (did you see that interview?)

But, imo (only), Gaga sang it with more emotion as well as nailing the technical proficiency. She really "felt" those first two verses in a way I've never heard any singer do.

And speaking of the music, Coldplay did a fantastic show....but should never share the stage with Bruno Mars again if they want anyone to remember they were there.

That dude stole the day. The Broncos could barely compete with his performance.

Didn't hear Stephanie Germatta sing the anthem. That's her name. I feel dumb callingva person "gaga". Whitney Houston ruined the anthem, by changing the notes. She had the range to do it, a million imitators since have not.
The halftime show is a joke. They're not plugged in and it gets more and more visual every year.
