Installing siding on townhomes in southwest Houston. My boss came to the site to tell the crews what had happened. It's crazy how when something like this, or 911, JFK assignation freezes those moments in time!

my wife and i had just walked into Paddy Malone's a local bar to grab a bite and as we walked in we knew something was very wrong....the place was perfectly quiet and everyone was watching things unfold on the TV's.

That is a beautiful tribute to those astronauts Jimmy. Very nicely written!

Great lyrics, Jimmy. I think you should relook at the song, and rewrite it musically to bring it into the 21st century.

Post it Jimmy, don't be ashamed of that period of musical development its what got you where you are today! I'm sure we all have recordings that were in our early years I know I do! In fact that's a good idea for a new thread!

I think I might just do that Mark! Should I call it "the early years"? Anyhow most of my early stuff is on tape like Jimmy. I am not the Techy guy that Jimmy is but let me see what I can do.
I am planning on spending the weekend shielding the cavity in my newer Strat the one on my avatar. I am having problems at one venue we play they have so many neon lights and won't let us turn them off and it creates a terrible buzz. I bought this copper shielding tape called Buzz Kill. I figured while I have the guitar taken apart (you have to do the cavity and back side of the gut plate) why not put a Seymor Dunkin JB pickup in. I really like that pickup. I have a Junior in my old Strat (humbuker to fit in a single coil space) side by side. I am getting ready to start gigging been booking gigs. WE had to take a hiatus because our drummer had hernia reconstructive surgery on November 30th. We/I didn't want to get a sub just out of loyalty. Anyhow he gets released to play on February 1. The long story is I will have some extra time to figure out which recording I will start the thread with!
