Dayne Nobody IV wrote:Luke 12:47 -
And that slave who knew his master's will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.
This "teaching" is a gross mischaracterization of what the Bible is saying. Being blessed has little to do with temporal riches, though being faithful in the small things will lead to favor with God and man. Otherwise, Jesus would have come to bring us gold.
Here are the verses that apply to this issue:
Exodus 20
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet anything that is your neighbor’s.”The real problem in America is that all of our candidates
are a reflection of what we have become.
2 Timothy 3 -
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its powerI think Trump is giving cover for the other candidates during the primary season but few really want to give him the steering wheel. His bombastic ridicule of Obama is bringing down PC barriers for the rest of the candidates. Once he brings attention to an issue, the rest have an open door to give their views about things the lapdog media would never bring up.
So I'm glad we have someone who isn't afraid to call a spade by it's name, but I wouldn't want another totalitarian bully dictator for President, even if he would be a hundred times better than the traitor we have now. Criticism of Obama's and Hillary's utter failure in both domestic and foreign policy doesn't have to be disguised as civil debate now, since we aren't dealing with people who want a civil debate on the issues anyway.
Imo, Trump will take the heat for pointing out the idiocy of Obama's and Hillary's policies, and the hideous results of the lies/propoganda coming from the ruling fascist party. Once the lapdog media is finished attacking Trump, it will be too late to hide the serious issues he has brought up, and the rest of the pack will be able to address the American public without having to soften their tone.
Either way, I don't think anyone can heal the divide Soros, Obama, and Hillary have opened.
