I don't think gun laws had much to do with either Charlie Hebdo or last night's attacks in France. Completely different scenario from the usual criminal element that will get and use guns no matter what the law says. What's an extra year for illegal firearm possession when you're already looking at 15 for armed robbery? Criminals already have guns, always will but this is not your typical criminal scenario.

Here we're dealing with a highly fanatical religious group fully prepared and usually expecting to die. It's a war against all who do not embrace their religious ideology, armed or not makes no difference. We've already seen that in this country. People beheaded, attacks on police, the presence of armed resistance means little. It's a war they want and they expect an armed response.

It will come to this country too and soon. The first load just landed in New Orleans from Syria, thanks to our dumbass in chief. We have already been attacked, and more than once, by the parent branch of this same bunch of religious nut jobs. 911 was the worst, but not the only one. The World Trade Center was bombed before that, the Ft Hood shooting, Boston Marathon I think was related too. And that's just a couple I can think of offhand.

Expect more, it will happen, and I don't think it will be long. It has already been broadcast that they intend to slip their members into the Syrian refugees, anyone who thinks that excludes the US is a fool. We are their primary target. They have made that well known.

Gun laws have nothing to do with it. They do it expecting to die, and in many cases, intentionally, as with suicide bombers. This article does point out one fact that is universal, in countries with strict gun laws, criminals still have them, in most cases many more than those owned legally. Australia is very similar, according to an article I read not long ago, their firearm murder rate has gone up 300% since their gun confiscation program around 10 years ago. Armed robbery went up 45% in one year. And they have been arresting jihadists planning attacks recently too. Here in the US I've seen several news reports of the same recently. It's coming here, gun laws make no difference.

These attacks have nothing to do with gun laws. These attacks in France are about ALL THE PEACEFUL MUSLIMS that sanction this guerilla warfare. This is about 9/11. This is about hatred. This is actually a very smart way to wage a war. This is against the law of the world, however in this case it may be far more difficult to present an argument... Even the war against anti semite hitler needed to be pushed over the edge. The difference then, was our troops were sanctioned to KILL and DESTROY the ENEMY.

Go ahead and ridicule all you want to. ISIS announced they would be mixing their people in with the Syrian refugees over a month ago. Do I believe it? Of course. They would be stupid not to. Their goal is to eradicate all infidels. That means anyone who does not endorse their religion. Have you paid attention to how many people they have beheaded? Do you have any idea how many they have tortured and killed already? Do you know anything about the rash of young girls being raped in European countries as we speak? We're talking 12 to 14 year old girls. Many of them not just one or two.

Do you remember what happened to the world trade center? Twice? They already attacked us here and the US is their main target. We killed their hero, bin laden. They will bring it here, they have already mixed their people in with the Syrian refugees, who are actually only about 40% Syrian. And mostly military age men. One of the suicide bombers in Paris had a Syrian passport. I don't know how many just unloaded in New Orleans, the Louisiana governor (Jindal) is pissed because the government won't tell him a thing, same as they did when they were transferring illegal immigrants all over the country last summer. So we don't know how may are here, where they are, or even who they are. Where they come from there are no terrorist databases, I'm not even sure if most have so much as a passport, we know nothing about them and can't find out.

If you don't think this is a very serious problem you are a complete fool. These are people who are willing to strap on bombs and kill themselves if it means they can take a few infidels along. In their minds they completely believe 72 virgins are waiting. No, that is not a talking point it's a fact. They truly believe it. They will walk into a mall with you and do the same, gladly. Have you heard about all the bombings all over the middle east? It happens about every week. It will start here, and this is where it starts. The so called refugees landing in this country RIGHT NOW have been infiltrated with t hem. It's not coming, it's already here.

Don't take it seriously. I don't really care. One less idiot to worry about. If you care a little about your own survival, better start treating this as a serious problem. If you don't, you won't survive it, even if you do, you still might not survive.

We're dealing with people who can't wait to die for their cause. Their goal is to wipe out EVERY human being on this planet who does not go along with their twisted ideology, moderate muslims included. They've already killed hundreds of those too. Women are not allowed to be educated, killed if they are. Women and girls sold as slaves or prostitutes. They have killed children. They have posted videos of 10 and 12 year old kids executing people.

Dude, there is a BIG difference between a Jihadist and a Muslim. Don't lump them together. The Muslims in West Africa HATE al-Qaeda. Most Kurds in the Middle East HATE Islam altogether. Wasn't long ago when Christianity was predominant in Syria. I grew up knowing and befriending many Syrian people. MOF - my first employer was a Syrian man. I learned a lot about the Syrian culture by watching and listening to him. He made homemade Kibbes on Saturdays for a special treat. He was a stern man but he had a good heart.

What I'm getting to- Christian people have no chance in Syria today. They are being beheaded every day for their faith. Yes, the criminal element may slip into this country w/ them but I believe we (the American people) can handle this bunch w/o government assistance.

It's not political, It's about a twisted ideology. They don't care what your political affiliations are, they only care about one thing. Killing Americans. You think all the French who died a couple of nights ago were conservatives? Not a chance, they don't care. They were not islamic radicals, that's all that mattered. They don't even care if you're not religious, atheist, whatever. They want to destroy this entire country, we are the exact opposite of what they believe.

You have the right to sit there and say whatever you want. They hate that. Charlie Hebdo was an example of what they think of freedom of speech, that's what it was about. You can't say what you want, you can only say what they allow. They consider women to be third class citizens, who have no rights whatsoever. No vote, no education, can't drive, must keep their faces covered, they even think it's their right to rape 12 year old girls. It's happening on an alarming scale in Europe.

If you don't believe it, remember they have already done it more than once. 9-11, Boston Marathon, Ft Hood, woman beheaded in Oklahoma last summer...and others I can't remember. They also released a hit list of US cities for their followers here to hit military people. (No, Palestine is not one of them but several in Texas are)

If you have any sense at all you really should stop ignoring this problem and realize it is a very serious threat to every single person in this country. Your political views don't matter. Your religion doesn't matter. Your income doesn't matter. If you're a musician they couldn't care less. You live in the US so you must die, that is what matters to them. Period.

Sit there and ignore it. I can't find out how many refugees have already been brought into this country, but we have already seen proof they are mixing ISIS members in with them. One suicide bomber in Paris had a Syrian passport, and his fingerprints were matched to a Syrian refugee who came into Greece in October. One month. That's all it took for them to organize an attack that is the French equivalent of our 9-11. By comparison, it would be about like killing around 800 -1000 people here.

This is very serious, not an issue you should be taking lightly or bashing political adversaries about. It affects EVERY person in this country, it is a serious threat to your safety along with all the rest of us. The US is their number one target, and has been for a long time. They hate Western values and education. They hate YOU and every other American because we have the right to say what we think, we have the right to speak up if we don't like what they do. We have the right to endorse any religion we choose, we are not forced to accept theirs. The exact opposite of what they demand. They are killing children right now who are not of their religion. Right now, today. Just in the past couple of days a mass grave of women was found. Women are sold as slaves. Children too. Sound like fun? That's what they want to see right here in your town.

If you don't start taking this as a very serious threat, you're a complete fool. And you just might be a dead fool if we keep bringing these people into this country. They are already here, that is a fact. Prayer rugs and copies of the Koran were found on the Mexican border last summer. A laptop was found at the border with hundreds of encrypted files, many in Arabic, including some related to biological warfare. 80 ISIS followers have already been arrested in the US, 900 are under observation, suspected of being potential threats.

Keep ignoring it. Bad idea. Very bad idea. In fact it's such a bad idea could get thousands of US citizens killed.
