He's resigning because everyone in America knows he's a traitor to the people who elected him.

His screw-ees cross a broad spectrum of our culture that might almost be called, "Americans."
Then he gets drunk and cries on the Pope's shoulder. We all need drama I suppose. Please...
For me, I think he should be given a revolver and one bullet - then sent to a room to consider his honor.
Instead he'll get a hefty pension and drink the rest of his life on my dime.
