I saw Trump speaking in Iowa (on TV) and heard his entire press conference there. Though I've not been a believer, he's getting much better at his public appearances, less combative. Apparently, as this clip shows, he's prepared to spend a billion dollars if that's what it takes.

I've decided that I would vote for him after hearing his position on the Iran deal alone. In no uncertain terms, he blasted the stupidity of Obama/Kerry for making the deal and thinking Iran can be trusted. Ya see, that's what O does...he lies and then it's too late by the time people figure out he's lied to them. This has been his modus operandi since he came into office....every single "accomplishment" of his was done this way.

After Trump was done, they cut to Hillary's press conference in Iowa and it just reeked of insincerity, obfuscation, half-answers, and all around arrogant dishonesty.

If those two end up being the nominees, he will mop the floor with her.

Not to be annoying but I couldn't care less about the Iran deal. I like Iranians and have no beef with them. Besides - they are fighting against ISIS.

But yeah, I'll vote for Trump. Simple reason: I despise the political hacks that hate him. I want them to wail and I want to hear the gnashing of their teeth.

He's too radical for mainstream politics, and this is why he is enjoying the poll numbers right now, the American voter is disenfranchised with politicians and this is backlash. But the old guard doesn't think he has a chance (tonight O'Reilly and Krauthammer both said they don't seem him becoming the candidate) so the question becomes, who will you support once he's gone?

No matter what the blue-bloods say, I don't see him going away. He's got the money (and now the poll numbers) to go as far as he wants to go, so the only way I see him leaving the primaries is being pushed out by the establishment.....which would cause an even bigger backlash.

I could see him becoming the Tea Party candidate in that case. So a lot will depend on who the DNC ends up nominating and it won't be Hillary.

WOW! FARTY is now using two big fox losers as a defense. Bill and Charles are so liberal it is sad.
Funny how FARTY has accused me of being a "FAUX NEWS" lover.
Trump has 10 billion to lose. Want to figure out the writing on the wall...

I like Iranians a lot...but their leaders are brutally oppressing them too, and the world should not be rewarding them for being the biggest exporter of terrorism. We need a regime change there, not a 150 billion dollar bonus.

Honestly Talbot, I can't imagine an intelligent person like you supporting this deal. Let me sum it up for you why it's the worst possible course we can take...

Back to the topic: As of today, it is obvious that Obama wants to torpedo Hillary. She has been no worse a criminal than anyone else in his Administration, but the protective shield of dictatorial power has been removed. Did Bill cross a line with Barak? Did Hillary piss everyone off? Does he just prefer creepy uncle Joe?

Trump has to move Alabama event from 500 seat civic center, to 50 thousand seat arena...

I love the way he is shaking the tree.

By the way we actually have senators sworn to uphold our CONSTITUTION, that actually voted to destroy it with the acceptance of attempts from the UN to control AMERICA.

Jimmy if you think everything is OK... LEAVE ME OUT OF IT! I'm certainly only going to say a prayer for you that it came quick and swift.

TheFarleys wrote:Fascinating. Speaking of destroying the Constitution, Trump has said he wants to do away with the 14th Amendment, which says that children born on U.S. soil are American citizens, REGARDLESS of the parents citizenship or political ties. It seems you have conveniently neglected that fact.

That has become a magnet for illegal immigration. I don't think he can, or would, do away with it...but it wouldn't hurt to put reasonable restrictions on it. For example: if you parents are here illegally, it ought to disqualify you from receiving benefits. That would stop some of the illegals who only want to suck on the Federal teet. Those who are here to work would still come.

I'm waiting for someone to drop the other shoe on Trump now. He is vulnerable in having 4 bankruptcies in his history, where the "little guy" ended up holding the bag. If they don't deal with it in the primaries, it could kill him in the general.

I'm still having trouble taking him seriously though he appears more serious by the hour.

Immigration and naturalization has been a running joke in this country for a very long time. A country that cannot control its borders or immigration is not really even a sovereign nation. We are unable to uphold our own laws and govern ourselves.

A lot of the deep left like to use Norway as the ultimate example of a well run country with high taxes and high social services. They have made a lot of wise moves especially controlling their vast oil reserves and public education. I also like their policy on immigration:
-If you come to Norway you had better bring highly valued skills or be sponsored by a company with high demand for your abilities. No marketable skills? GTFO!
-No such thing as anchor babies in Norway, one or both parents must be naturalized citizens for the child to receive citizenship at birth.
-If 100,000 immigrants were walking across the border into Norway they would be considered an invasion force and be met by the Norwegian military. They take their borders very seriously.
- Completed your education as foreign student or arrived as a foreign worker but can't find a job? GTFO! Can't afford transportation costs to your country of origin? Let us help you with that. Now GTFO! Fail to show up for your deportation appointment? We will come and find you and ship you back to your country of origin pronto.

There are many things to like about Norway. They are a pragmatic, hard working people and have little tolerance for able-but-un-productive adults, especially foreign born. I don't like that a medium pizza might cost $100 there and because of very high taxes, the economy is stifled a bit, but we could learn much from Norway.
