tell me, is it a sin because I have a curiosity about what was said in the Communist Manifesto? I feel sinful for reading portions of it last night, and now feel like taking a shower to wash the filth off of me..

You should feel bad - it is a sin.

That is, if it is sin to know as much about everything as you can. The only way I know to do that is to go to the source.

I also read Mein Kampfe by Adolf Hitler. Not so very different except for the racial clap trap.

I should imagine those two rather amateurish authors are well acquainted now.

Mike, although we were not there, and thus, do not have first hand experience, in your opinion, were the peasants in Russia that overthrew the Czar and Czarina, worthless lazy scum, that were dis-satisfied with their allotment of food stamps and housing subsidies, for the month, or were they hard working citizens of Russia who toiled from dawn to dusk , day in, day out, and were just pissed off because their wages were not enough to buy the necessities required to live an adequate lifestyle?.. and are they no different than the impoverished of current day America?

I've pointed out several times that Dictators use the same tactic throughout world history. They convince the large group that they are victims of another group to produce fear and anger. Once that has reached a tipping point (about 35% of the population) they can then turn the large group into perpetrators of their true agenda.

So to answer your question about the peasants of Russia that believed the murderous lies of Stalin....they were no different than the Cubans who followed Castro, the Nazis who followed Hitler, or the dumbass low-lifes who are fighting race wars for Obama.

I've been to Trier, Germany several times, home of Karl Marx and also the Emperor Constantine. I also visited communist Romania. Have you ever been in a communist nation? Its not something you can imagine otherwise.

Marxism works great on paper. It's a political utopia, where all people share equally in a society. Problem is, it ignores the human condition, and that fact has been proven everywhere marxism has been perpetrated on a people.

Human nature proves that most people only work as hard as they have to. Who would work if they are going to be paid the same amount if they don't work?

It's the bane of innovation, the end of productivity, the destruction of a free people.

I've watched a commissar in a Cuban uniform make a speech denouncing the colonialists for not building schools for the people.

He was standing on the ruins of a school the 'colonialists' had built for the people. It had been made out of brick but the communist thugs had made the beloved 'people' tear it apart with their bare hands.

I hated the truce. i wanted so badly to wipe that sneer off that freak's face.

I studied communism with all the left wing clowns in my brief college adventure. I was a country boy and shocked by how casually they discussed how many people would have to be killed to make the society 'perfect' in the communist sense.

America already tried that in the very beginning. And it worked out the same way because some who did nothing received as much as those who worked hard. It didn't last very long. Who wants to work for what others are given, just look at our welfare state. Never give free booze to the band before the gig. I have seen how that worked out a few times.

That's only half the equation. The other side of the coin is the leadership, living life as royalty. Knock off the Tzar, live just like he did (in the lap of luxury), all the while claiming you're for the "workers". Brilliant!
