with an anvil case probably in inoperative condition, but might be a good restoration project for Slacker or a good parts source, it looks to have some rotted plugs jacks on the back but might not have nothing wrong with the power supply or circuitry inside..the anvil case needs re-foamed but structurally sound.. can provide photos if you want a look at it..

I remember then as the goto synth (along with Moog) so googled a bit and found out they arp is now sort of embedded in Korg. By coincidence I got to monkey with one in a music store recently but didn't know about the Arp connection.

Here is the detail I found:

hard to recall that far back, but didn't the Onmi have a bunch of 'instrument' presets (horns, etc)? The sounds were pretty cheesy comapred to today's samples synths, but they made the early 80s rock songs sound the way they did.

Dane,

I already have a Memorymoog that I haven't used for years. .It is the last synth that Moog made 1982-1983. Mine is in pristine condition as it spent it's former life covered in the corner of a professional recording studio. I even got the 2 keyboard heavy duty stand worth a few hundred back then and even the original operators manual with it. Not much need for another one. It is an awesome sounding machine. The sequencer is a lot of fun to use. I still take really good care of it. My son called me a while back from Washington and it came up in the conversation. He almost crawled through the phone when he heard that I had one. Wikipedia has some good info on it.

I was aware you have a workshop and thought of you possibly wanting it, not needing it, I don't even see one on ebay although there are some other ARP keyboards listed.it is definitely in need of work, or parted out..since the plugs/jacks are "dissolving". it looks like everybody that is offering parts for sale, are very proud of their replacement parts.. looks like there are some power supply "kits" and a circuit board replacement kits all at astounding prices, I am looking for a jack set for the rear, can't find any yet, .. the case is special too, with ARP actually printed on it as maybe it was factory produced and not after-market a pretty orange color.... I just could not pass up the price they were asking at the auction yesterday..and it weighs a ton, put my back out hauling it to the truck.. lol..you would have gotten a special Slacker price too... :)
