A couple of these social issues matter. I don't care who wins if it doesn't matter.
Is much of it bullshit - yeah. But some of it really does matter a lot to many of us.

Dumb comment and thread farrty. All these issues are totally interlocked. It is no longer worth attempting to save or explain for you... The hell you are about to unleash.

Live I've said so many time....it's only a reaction to the extremism on the left. You can't see it, and they can't see it either. Everyone believes they are the victims of the "other" crazies.
I hate all politicians. It's always a choice of which one is the least worst of the worst people in the world. They jack with people's emotions only to raise money for themselves.
But the recent Supreme Court rulings just made the THOUGHTS of 70% of America illegal. Had it been done through the proper process of a Constitutional Amendment, the battle would be over....but this? It's only beginning. Five people have told 250,000,000 people that their opinions and Constitutional Rights can be pooped upon.
That's not going to work. It will end badly for the left. It could have been avoided if the left played by the same rules everyone else has to use. And now they've overplayed their hand.
Here is my prediction: NO MATTER WHO IT IS the nominee of the right will win, OR America begins to split into smaller pieces. All that is contingent on IF we actually have another election. I'm still betting "no" on that.
The followers will know in February 2017 what a mistake they have made, but it will be too late.

Kudos to you Jimmy. Bringing a civil point of view to a discussion is very much preferred. Without going into extreme detail Ted has pointed out how the few have basically taken the law as a tool against many. Without going off on a tangent and explanation of the many points you made I will stick to the simple one.
These are not undocumented workers. These are criminals that broke the law. The very minute they stepped on AMERICAN soil without invitation, they became criminals.
Ronald Reagan, remember that guy you didn't like, sanctioned amnesty as a one time deal... As long as the border was closed... Did it happen? NO.
We have an immigration policy that has worked for over 2 centuries... An established working law...
Suddenly the few want to destroy the law for the benefit of the few... This is the path to anarchy.

The only flaw of the right was letting the left get out of control instead of stopping the left while they still could have stopped them.

That's not true. The "right" has been moving "left" since Bush 41. Most of them now make Kennedy look more like a "far-right nut job" than Bush 44. Heck, even Bill Clinton looks far-right compared to Obama.
The 2008 the majority of both parties in Congress was corrupted and controlled by Soros money....lock, stock, and barrel. That was how the trojan horses turned America into what it is now. It will get worse before it gets better.

Yod,
Isn't that is what I was saying? The right let the left infiltrate their ranks, their ideals, corrupt their policies and their integrity. They didn't push back when they could. They let the lying RINOS take over the party.and control the platform I'm not sure how that is that different than what you said. Regardless, it is God who put them into office, he says so.

Technically, you said "they didn't stop them" which is different than "they joined them" but the result is the same.
