I have a check wrote out for $100.00 to send to the NAACP for the damage done to the psyches of blacks (even to this day) because of the peculiar institution of the south, inflicting the worse kind of treatment to them for 200 years +.. who is with me on this? .. don't you believe they are entitled to something for the irreversible damage to them?

I will also write a large check for reparations to those who were discriminated against way back when. As soon as they dig themselves out of their graves and ask me for some reparation monies.

But America owes them nothing. Do you realize that white Americans in the north fought the south (demoncraps) and lost the equivalent of millions of lives to free the slaves? How conveniently that is always overlooked by the demoncraps and the other greedy grudge holders.. Look at the size of the total American population when the civil war was fought, and look at the number of casualties. Then use the same percentage compared to todays population and you will be able to see just how many white Americans died to free the slaves. And then what happened? The demoncraps re enslaved them through their racist legislation, so give me a friggin break.

My grandparents came over here during the war, they had no slaves. I doubt that there is a single American alive today that owned slaves or were slaves. So that reparations crap is just demagogue nonsense. It is a typical demoncrap blame game trying to put guilt on those who are not guilty. Personally I do not accept their phony hypocritical guile trip. Should it be placed on anyone, it should rest on the demoncrap party alone. However, I will willingly give reparations to any individual that I have personally enslaved. Feel better now?

my great-great grandfather also fought in the Civil War, and next time I visit mother, I will take a photograph of him hanging on the wall, it is one of those that had a flag and a cannon in the background and not sure what type of photograph it was some primitive type like an albumen like thing.. also has REAL (not the fake stuff)Confederate paper money bottom right corner inside the glass frame.. and he was wounded at Shiloh..but the fact remains, some here seem to think blacks are lazy, or lack initiative to attain some status of material success( make)ing) big money).. but although many are successful, many in my opinion pass on down psychic damage from always being treated like a n___.. and not given an opportunity to become somebody (never given a chance to apprentice out?) because of their race and nothing else.. yep, I spent some time living around real white southerners, (not white trash, but the aristocratic ones) back when I was younger, around Belleview and Oxford, Florida, and to this modern day, they still treat them like boys, it was commercial watermelon farming environs..never saw one white guy in the fields, and they set up trailer houses right in the field for the bosses and drivers, to keep cool in the AC, not for the "hands"..excellent watermelon farming area cause of the sandy soil yet has loam in it..

I still find that taking money from someone who has done nothing and giving it to someone else who has had nothing done to them is a rather wacko liberal concept.

Just in the face of the fact that it is a twisted liberal idea should tell you that it is corrupt. I am sure that if that were to happen politicians and money handlers would be the only ones to profit. My advice to those clamoring for money that they do not in any way deserve is either learn to live on your income is or get a better job.

Since my shop work has declined, due to the drunk driving laws that have cut down drastically on live music, my income has also suffered. Should I get reparations from the law enforcement community for that or should all Americans be held responsible for the people that used to drink and drive drunk? Which of those do you believe should be deemed responsible for the reparations to pay me, due to the decrease in my music repair business?

Slacker - you (and I) should get reparations from those statist bitches at MADD. There are plenty of folks who can have four or five drinks and still drive perfectly well. Sadly, I'm not one of them. So I simply keep to two or three drinks max or don't drive.

Simple solution to DUI exists but since it made no money for lawyers or political pigs it was rejected. Namely, if you harm someone due to being drunk - that same harm will be inflicted upon you.

Reparations is a STUPID idea. Throwing money at the black community for the guilt of 150 years ago is exactly why they are messed up. It was called "The Great Society" and it only made them slaves again.
