General Chat (Non-Music-Related)

Yaaaawwwwnnnnnn. Just woke up from a NAP! I went into work this morning after watching the fighting over loaves of bread, and bottled water in the grocery stores last night. The media has this entire thing so over hyped it is the brunt of all the jokes on fb. As soon as I got to work I found the University I work at closed 5 minutes before I got there. I came back home got back in bed for that nap and when I woke up the sun was shining HUH..........!

What you didn't spend the free time to go to the range? Nothing more fun than shooting the breeze!

I think it hit south of you around Corpus Christi, Houston got some rain but not near what they expected at first. I saw a picture on weather channel of College Station, a foot of water in an apartment complex, looked like the one where I replaced about 20 doors in the 80's. Dallas is getting pounded, we got maybe an inch at best, looks like little or no rain now (6PM).

I wish I had some tools and a small trailer, I might go try and find some trim work in either Houston or Dallas when the clean up gets going good...Houston had a bad time last week, I'm glad you guys didn't get it too bad this time. The lake here is the highest I've ever seen it, but no flooding, we're too high above it to flood.
