I know Houston hasn't been besieged as badly as other areas of TX but i'm hoping Haley and his family are doing OK.

Anyone been in touch w him?

I hope you other TX boys and your loved ones are all okay and keeping your heads above water.

The highways in Houston are shut down from flooding, as you know...

That dam in the Dallas area about to go is about 15 miles up the highway I live on. But we're OK. Gonna go fishing in my back yard.

I e-mailed Jeff and he said he is doing fine. Any more than that Jeff will have to tell you himself.

B.S. L.Ps are way to heavy for the average paddle. Maple strats are much easier to paddle with.

I gave up on strats many years ago and wouldn't own one even for a boat-paddle. The Les Paul is much better than my Breedlove acoustic....keeps getting water in the hole.

Hello friends, thanks for asking I am fine didn't get any water damage. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I haven't been on bm for a while I am going through a divorce and my life has been turned upside down! This is not the first one so I know the drill. I'm in the process of putting my life back together and reaching a new normal. This has been an amicable separation and I have no reason to think finalizing it will be any different. As for the flood it inundated the Houston area. This is flatland around here and when that volume of water falls it takes several days for all that water to make its way out into the Gulf of Mexico. The folks that have been thru this as I have many many times know to just stay home. Heck I even got inclement weather pay. I just played guitar all day. :D

I'm so sorry to hear that, brother. Did it have anything to do with music?
