It couldn't possibly be Islam fueling terrorism. That has been ruled out. Never has any act of terrorism been blamed on Islam by the leader of this regime. Therefore, it has to be "Climate Change"

What manner of morons put these people in power to steal their liberty? "Climate Change" was a contributing cause of the war in Syria? So "Climate Change" causes belief in Islam? It most certainly would if you follow that moronic presumption.

By this brilliant reasoning 9/11 was also caused by "Climate Change", right? Why has this been concealed from the media? Are liberals attempting curtail the spread of fear?

When the Financial system of America crashes due to the policies of these nincompoops, and people are starving to death for lack of food supplies, can we then blame the ensuing cannibalism on "Climate Change" ? That couldn't happen? Members of the Donner party might disagree. http://www.legendsofamerica.com/ca-donnerparty.html

Is there anything under the sun that hasn't caused "Climate Change"? Flatulence, exhaling, forests, all contributors to "Climate Change". Why do liberals fight to keep land out of development to save a bug, bird, or any other animal? Wouldn't it be more humane to just let them die to save the planet, as opposed to letting them suffer a lingering death caused by "Climate Change"?

The only thing we know that has had absolutely nothing to do with "Climate Change" is the cyclic heating and cooling phases of the sun. With that out of the equation we are free to explore all the other possibilities. The truth is obvious. Demented irrational malfunctioning liberal minds are causing "Climate Change" Save the planet. Stop liberals from "thinking"

The most detrimental effect of "Climate Change" is the transfer of hard earned money previously found in your wallet into the wallets of greedy lying politicians.

Obama: Climate Change Fueled Rise Of Boko Haram, War In Syria

During his speech at the Coast Guard Commencement ceremonies, President Obama warned that climate change was part of the reason behind increasing violence in countries around the world.

Obama pointed out that under his administration, the Pentagon had begun identifying climate change as a “threat multiplier” in world conflicts, although he was careful not to put all the blame on changing weather patterns.

“Understand, climate change did not cause the conflicts we see around the world, yet what we also know is that severe drought helped to create the instability in Nigeria that was exploited by the terrorist group Boko Haram,” he said.

He also claimed that climate change was partially responsible for the brutal civil war in Syria.

“It’s now believed that drought, crop failures, and high food prices helped fuel the early unrest in Syria, which descended into civil war in the heart of the Middle East,” he said.

Obama explained that the United States armed forces would now have to factor in climate change in upcoming missions.

“You need to be ready,” he said to the graduates.

Global Warming Makes More Weak-Minded Democrats

Because there aren't enough real issues to keep our government occupied, President Obama poked his head up out of his foxhole to do a little fear mongering about global warming this week.

Actually, he didn't poke his head out (possibly afraid to see his shadow) so much as hand a memo to the nearest PR flak.

The White House report, however, hammered home Obama's "concern" about the national security risk posed by the continued existence of coal-fired power plants that have served the nation reliably for decades.

The report pointed out, "We also need to decrease the harmful carbon pollution that causes climate change. That is why, this summer, the EPA will put in place commonsense standards to reduce carbon pollution from power plants, the largest source in the United States."

I've always found that bit about allegedly harmful carbon pollution to be mathematically interesting, since all human industrial activity on a yearly basis only comes out to a minuscule fraction of what's churned out naturally on planet Earth. Somehow, humans' carbon is deadlier than other carbon because only we cause global warming.

Mom always said you were special.

In case you weren't convinced of the dire threat posed by civilization, the White House report sternly warned that

with climate change, certain types of extreme weather events and their impacts, including extreme heat, heavy downpours, floods, and droughts, have become more frequent and/or intense. In addition, warming is causing sea level to rise and glaciers and Arctic sea ice to melt.

All of those claims are as scientifically valid as an old guy sitting in a rocking chair saying "I remember 'twarn't so rainy when I 'as a kid."

In addition to Arctic ice, warming will cause the ice in your Pepsi to melt. Try it, it's alarming.

Other things caused by global warming, according to Barry's White House, include "poverty, environmental degradation, and political instability, providing enabling environments for terrorist activity," flooding of airports and roads, disruption of energy production (kind of like shutting down coal-fired power plants would do ...), weakening of the military, and compromised human safety and health. ...

"Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria," to quote Dr. Peter Venkman from Ghostbusters.

Most importantly, global warming freaks out the weak-minded and makes them susceptible to handing over their wallets.

Which is the real point of global warming.

you honestly believe that? Really?

If you follow the money, you'll find the farthest of leftists are the people enriching themselves with this pseudo "science" and they are unwilling/unable to answer the simplest of questions about so-called evidence and method. When their weak theories are exposed to light and subsequently wither, they don't adopt the truth into the latest scientific facts, but instead double-down, knowing that the masses will never hear the other side of their lies.

No, we get ridiculed for bringing up the inconvenient facts. That should tell you there is something to hide. When so-called facts are presented to support their wild claims, scrutiny is not allowed....only ridicule of the person asking.

And several times the "science" has been exposed for creating lies and covering them. Until that is answered for, and until "denier" is removed as the default answer for legitimate questions, there is no reason to take any of this baloney as if it is serious, except for one.

This is about controlling every person on planet earth under a one-world government rule. It is about superseding American sovereignty in the name of "emergency measures".

I am honestly surprised at how many swallow this strong delusion without using just a little common sense.

"Forests are considered a cause of 'climate change' only in rants by certain misinformed wackjob pseudo scientists."

Yes, that is what I was eluding to. That and the moronic use of the term "Greenhouse gases" as being the problem. And where do you find greenhouse gas? I know!! It is a place where plants grow by taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Photosynthesis. So are they eluding to the oxygen that they generate in the greenhouse during the day, or to the carbon dioxide that they generate at night ?

( Most plants take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis during the day and release carbon dioxide during respiration at night. )

OH NO!!

A misspelled word!!!! I guess that if you misspell a word the leftist brain, even with all its resources in overdrive, can not comprehend what you meant.

I guess that substantiates the moronic argument of the leftist tree hugger that the 5% of man made CO2 is a danger to our survival.

I know jimmy. My post was simply a rhetorical question attempting to clarify how absurd the left climate change farce truly presents itself. First global warming. OOPS No it's Global Cooling. OOPS It's "Climate Change" When I went to school they taught subjects. When you went to school they taught leftist Commie propaganda.

Leftists were proclaiming Global warming was caused by "Greenhouse gas" at the start of the great propaganda campaign. Now it is causing the spread of Islam and ISIS. I suppose tomorrow using toilet paper is the greatest cause of Climate Change. Actually, if the truth be known, leftist stupidity and moronic reasoning are the cause of "Climate Change,"

it's bad enough that you smugly try to stake out and claim some ridiculous moral, ethically superior, holier than thou higher ground ...but when you label others who don't share your views as "morons", and "stupid" and you attempt to laud your superior education experiences over others....yeah, you can expect to get some $hit when toss off "quire" for "choir".

if you're gonna throw stones....you might think about living somewhere other than a glass house.

"QUIRE" is the shortened version of stupidity, malevolence, control, and all obfuscation of any decent human rights. I guess that is just what should be expected from any one that doesn't understand the simple things, such as capitalization. Some one is so full of hypocrisy it won't pass the smell test. LOL.

Arrogant Fool: I would expect no less from you. You truly are as God has defined you.

Here is so called "Climate Change" by one who has done the research, as opposed to the made up data from the lackeys that devious politicians have put on their payroll to deceive the fools of this world. They have you morons willing to accept the orchestrated degradation of life as we know it all the while making you pay for it. They are stuffing their wallets and living the "good life" all the while your standard of living is methodically being flushed down the toilet. What a bunch of morons you are. Go hug a tree.

Former UN Lead Author: Global Warming Caused By ‘Natural Variations’ In Climate

Global temperature change observed over the last hundred years or so is well within the natural variability of the last 8,000 years, according to a new paper by a former Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) lead author.

Dr. Philip Lloyd, a South Africa-based physicist and climate researcher, examined ice core-based temperature data going back 8,000 years to gain perspective on the magnitude of global temperature changes over the 20th Century.

What Lloyd found was that the standard deviation of the temperature over the last 8,000 years was about 0.98 degrees Celsius– higher than the 0.85 degrees climate scientists say the world has warmed over the last century.

“This suggests that while some portion of the temperature change observed in the 20th century was probably caused by greenhouse gases, there is a strong likelihood that the major portion was due to natural variations,” Lloyd wrote in his study.

The United Nations’ IPCC claims there’s been 0.85 degrees Celsius of warming since the late 1800s, and concludes that most of this warming is due to human activities– mainly, the burning of fossil fuels and changes in land use. The IPCC says that “more than half of the observed increase in global average surface temperature from 1951 to 2010” have been caused by human activity.

If Lloyd’s results hold, the IPCC may have to revise how much warming it attributes to mankind. In any case, the IPCC’s estimate of man-made and natural warming (0.85 degrees) is still below the standard deviation for the last 8,000, according to Lloyd’s results. This means that warming is not very significant within the context of the Earth’s recent climate history.

Lloyd arrived at his conclusion after the “differences in temperatures between all records which are approximately a century apart were determined, after any trends in the data had been removed.” Lloyd noted the “differences were close to normally distributed.”

But Lloyd’s study hits at a larger debate within climate science: how much warming is attributable to mankind or nature. Clearly, Lloyd and the IPCC he once contributed to now represent different ends of the spectrum.

“The key challenge in understanding climate change is to assess the natural climate variability,” Dr. Judith Curry, a climate scientist at Georgia Tech, told The Daily Caller News Foundation in April.

At the time, Ronald Bailey, a science write for Reason magazine, wrote that there has still not been enough observed warming to meet the IPCC’s standard of “enhanced warming” — that is, warming above natural levels.

In his article, Bailey noted that there has not been enough temperature rise since the IPCC set its benchmark for “enhanced warming” in 1990. Curry noted that there was a big jump in temperature between 1993 and 1998, but that was basically because of the latter year’s El Niño.

“The magnitude of natural climate variability over the past 1000 years and even the past 100 years is hotly debated,” Curry added. “Personally, I think the role of natural climate variability has been substantially underestimated in our interpretation of recent climate change.”

But not all scientists agree with Bailey’s article, and some argue that signs of human influence on the Earth’s climate were evident in the 1970s. Indeed, by 1995 the IPCC stated that the “balance of evidence suggests a discernible human influence on global climate.” The international body has only made stronger statement on man’s climatic influence ever since.

“I would not pin anything on what was said by IPCC in 1990,” Dr. Kevin Trenberth, a climate scientist with the National Center for Atmospheric Research, told TheDCNF in April. “In the reports since then there have been thorough evaluations of past IPCC projections and whether they were out of line.”

Human influence on the climate may have been observable in the 1970s, but scientists have had trouble explaining why satellite data shows that average global temperatures have been virtually flat for more than 18 years. Satellites measure the troposphere — the lowest few miles of the atmosphere — in contrast, to surface temperature measurements, which most climate bodies rely on for estimates of global average temperature average.

But even surface temperature data showed a hiatus in warming for about 15 years or so. Scientists have offered up dozens of explanations for why global temperatures have been flat since the late 1990s. The most prominent explanation is that oceans have been absorbing most of the “heat” from increased greenhouse gas emissions, meaning surface temperatures show less warming than they otherwise would.

“What is evident now is that the signal of global warming emerged from the noise of natural variability about the mid 1970s,” Trenberth added. “There are fluctuations in global mean temperatures: from year to year with El Niños, etc., and from decade to decade, so that trends reflecting global warming need to be taken over at least 20 years.”
