I just love every thing this guy spouts out of his mouth, he realizes something has to be done to correct the income inequality firmly established in the TWO SOCIETIES nowadays.. he know the rich have to pay more taxes to compensate for the common people's inability to buy a sufficient amount of groceries for the week, little alone to splure on a sundae at Dairy Queen.. hey Ross Perot I have never forgotten your motto, "he could not get a job at Dairy Queen working the 3rd shift"

I don't disagree - but if the USA were to somehow start taxing the rich the way they are in the UK (not saying it could ever happen as they and congress control it all), the same thing would happen as in the UK - the rich simply move out, change their places of residency to places that don't tax them that way (Monaco, for example). The rich have expensive accountants and financial advisors (who mostly are also rich) to advise them on how to put their money in places that ensures they don't have to pay taaxes on that income, instead siphoning out as much as they need to sustain their oppulent lifestyle, yet write it off as 'business expenses' as much as possible.

Two societies -

Those who earn, and those who envy

No, actually it is three societies but the "other" one doesn't want anyone to notice it is the rail of thievery.

I'd rather have an individuals be extremely rich and employ people, than to take that away and give it to a government who uses it to enslave people.

You think raising their taxes is going to help you???? Ha...it will all go to ultra-rich politicians who steal from the rich AND the poor.

By the way, I still have that beachfront property in Utah for ya.

There is a difference between words and actions. In the decades the Bernie had been lying to his constituents why didn't he implement any of that hocus pocus in Vermont? It's got a liberal side but its hardly a socialist paradise.

I read somewhere the millennials are throwing millions at him and are following him in droves.. the millennials are basically the new guys that have never had a fair shake since they graduate from college with no job prospects, wages increases are stagnant, and have not kept pace at all with the wealthy people's increases in wealth, Kock brothers made 18 billion dollars last year, ??( it' s on a post I put up).. I even feel sorry for millennials.. I would like to see the rich get taxed their fair share, say 49% like Eisenhower did..

I'm starting to agree with all these Democratic principles... Every time Bill gives a speech he should be taxed at 100%. Hell he has more money than any one else. I mean he could support FREE food stores with just one speech. Imagine everyone eats free.
If we take over Mc Donalds and set the minimum wage at 80 grand a year every one will be happy.
Imagine free health care, any one that is a doctor can not make more than 80 grand a year. Hell... Limit them to 15 dollars an hour... We'll just pass a law.
Immigration, I guess they just don't get it. We don't need no stinking laws... That is what is pissing off isis so much. If we take all the money and spread it around, anyone can come here and be happy. Isn't that what God wants?
I guess the Dems are missing the point... If I decide to run... A vote for me, will set you FREE.
It's just a simple matter of controlling all the resources of corrupt corporations, honest corporations, and all individuals... So remember to vote!

TheFarleys wrote:Just like the extremists on the right have no real chance, neither do those at the other end of the spectrum. Americans tend to go for middle of the road, thankfully. Hillary is the only candidate firmly in the middle, and that's what scares the right and why they invent scandals that are forgotten in two days.

How can you say that? It is always the extremists who win elections. Middle of the road is where you get run over. They only have to fool the middle electorate.

I can respect Bernie Sanders for being an honest Socialist. At least he owns it.

The real polywonks* (partisans of a Party at the lowest levels) understand the extreme candidate's hidden references when talking in polingo* and saying what the public in front of them at the moment wants to hear.

ONLY the extreme Candidate can get people to work for them, or get them to the polls....either for or against.

Extremism has gone to a whole new level with the current President. Bernie Sanders is much less dangerous. Obama is, and always has been, the most extreme of the extreme left. He is uniquely able to fool the middle better than any other leftist in American history, clearly. He schooled Clinton, after all.

Did you know that he first ran for public office as a Socialist in 1996 as Candidate for the extreme radical "New Party"? He is, and always has been, surrounded by extreme leftists that would make Bernie look more like Barney.

really....you should take off those partisan sunglasses and examine this guy:

* a word I just made up

** a mega-corporation you will never hear the Left complain about though they pay no taxes, and get the lion's share of "stimulus" money from Obama

CORRECTION: I didn't make up polywonk. There is evidently already a use for that word, and by golly, it still works in this context.

Brilliance!

Hey man, I'll be on Long Island for the weekend. East Northport this Sunday at 6PM....do you know where "Samantha's" is? Only 8 miles from Smithtown. I've got the first 3 days of next week off...but was thinking about going into Manhattan for a chill. Anything happening in Lawn Giland I should be aware of?

You ever get into the city?
