A woman was shot dead by cops while handcuffed in the back of a police car in Atlanta, with authorities dubiously claiming that she somehow managed to fire on the officers with her hands behind her back.

However, both cops in question were black, so don’t expect there to be protests and riots raging through the city any time soon.

The woman, later named as 26-year-old mother of two Alexia Christian, was arrested at 5pm yesterday in downtown Atlanta and placed in the back of a cruiser.

“Incredibly, despite being handcuffed, according to the Police version, she fired on the officers, who were also black, sitting in the front of the car,” reports News 786, citing Atlanta Police Sergeant Gregory Lyon. “The officers returned fire. The woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died.”

Both officers were unharmed by the three shots allegedly fired by Christian.

The notion that the woman was able to conceal a gun from arresting officers and then fire on them while she was handcuffed is significantly less believable than the explanation that Freddie Gray severed his own spine, but this case will receive no national media attention whatsoever. Also expect the #BlackLivesMatter supporters to respond to this story by suddenly asserting that the police version of what happened is gospel truth.

The establishment media and the George Soros-funded #BlackLivesMatter crowd is only interested in cases where white police officers kill young black men, because at its core the movement is a contrived tool of divide and conquer that is more interested in stirring up racial tension than actually addressing the real causes of police brutality.

That’s why you will never see #BlackLivesMatter discuss why so many blacks get into violent confrontations with police officers in the first place.

Despite making up just 13 per cent of the US population, blacks commit over half of homicides.

As Channel 4 News reports, “According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, black offenders committed 52 per cent of homicides recorded in the data between 1980 and 2008. Only 45 per cent of the offenders were white.”

More up to date statistics from the FBI also tell a similar story – that despite representing a relatively small proportion of the population, blacks commit 38 per cent of murders, compared to 31.1 per cent for whites.

Blacks also kill 93 per cent of other blacks, emphasizing how the biggest threat to black people is not white police officers but other black people.

Despite blacks being responsible for more than half of homicides, whites are almost twice as likely to be killed by cops, as these stats from CNN illustrate.

These “racist” facts completely demolish the #BlackLivesMatter narrative, which is why you will see them either ignored or denounced with pejoratives that completely fail to address the cold hard reality of the data.

I don't know what video you watched but the one I saw showed a guy in shorts, light blue shirt and bicycle helmet carrying Freddie Gray to the van. I didn't see any military gear, no SWAT truck, no heavy artillery...just a couple of everyday cops doing their job and Freddie Gray dragging his feet to make them carry dead weight. Common tactics for thugs like him. And yes I said thug. Drug dealer already arrested numerous times in the same area for dealing drugs, rap sheet long as your arm...

MAybe you don't want criminals in charge but Michael Moore and Al Sharpton do. Moore posted a tweet that he "demands" that every African American currently incarcerated for drug "crimes" and non violent offenses be released from prison today. I say let them all loose in his neighborhood. His next demand was disarm the police. QUOTE - we have 1/4 billion 2nd amendment guns in our homes 4 protection. We'll survive til the right cops r hired. (Bad spelling and grammar his not mine)

Hasn't he been screaming we shouldn't have guns, the police do for years??? Let all those drug dealers loose in his neighborhood and disarm the cops there too. See how it works out. I suppose he thinks the drug dealers are going to protect him?

Sharpton wants the DOJ to take over all police departments. And run them the same way they do welfare, social security, post office, education, abominablecare I suppose? Right...welfare is corrupt as hell and a huge drain on the national budget, there is no incentive to ever get off the dole. Social Security is bankrupt and politicians have no intention of paying back our money that they spent. Post office is going bankrupt. Education has been going downhill for years and not just in Obama's world, it was already bad enough. And Sharpton thinks the government can run police departments? The only thing I've ever seen politicians run right is slush funds. National police is exactly what Hitler put together. I'm sure you know how that worked out. Right after he enacted gun control.

Let's see...Obama repeatedly ignores laws and constitution, Eric Holder does the same, nothing is being done about our open border, Holder ran a gun running operation to supply a Mexican drug cartel with weapons, unconstitutional executive orders, IRS persecuting political groups opposing Obama... sounds to me like criminals are already in charge.

Have to correct myself, the bicycle cops didn't have short pants on, it looks like one of the other cops might.

We don't want criminals in charge but we don't want Gestapo-style police forces brutalizing and killing people either. They are supposed to serve and protect. The police have become much too powerful and use military tactics on citizens. Hopefully these six officers will learn that, as well as the rest of the police in this country.

Jimmy, I TOTALLY agree that police have gotten out of hand. It's a legitimate issue that really needs to be addressed. I believe it's socio-economic though, not racist. If we treat it like a race issue only, we will have missed an opportunity to take corrective action, and will in fact only produce more racism, if one race is treated any different than another.

If any of you have even been pulled over by the cops with all your band gear and band mates, you were likely treated differently than a man in a nice car with a suit. Especially in the south, just looking like a rock band will get your car searched and the dogs called in.

Bad cops treat anyone who can't afford a lawyer as a disposable piece of feces far too often. That needs to stop. I honestly don't think it is usually race-driven, but rather class-driven.

But it's ironic that you think this will reduce gestapo tactics because that's exactly the goal of the false-narratives campaign, from what I can see. It's not about stopping crime or even police brutality, but about producing a phony "demand" for a national police force....gestapo.

I'm glad to hear that 6 cops will face the consequences of mistreating another human. I hope that sends a message to cops everywhere to be more respectful of anyone they think is lower class.

Non-violent criminality (drug abuse, intoxication, etc) should not be cause for any mistreatment. Medical attention should be MANDATORY if cops are going to physically bring anyone down.
