Only one more day before I can watch my TV or listen to my radio without hearing the lies of those stinking rat bastard corrupted self aggrandizing power crazy suns-a-bitches. ....... Well, not exactly in one day.

Then we will get begin hearing the unending why's and how's speculation from the regime's parrots in the free press Pravda machine. And after week upon week of hashing it over and over, so that their narcissistic egos can display their wisdom and political genius to the gullible, then they can get back to doing their real jobs.... partying endlessly and traveling to all the dream vacation spots on the globe while they coordinate the death of the constitution and the destruction of America.

But at least I'll have my TV and Radio back. :)

"I dumped my TV in the ally back in 1983! Good riddance!!" WOW!! I bet you're just proud as can be over your accomplishment! Good for you.

"You are still watching TV .. yet you complain how your culture is going down the drain?" Yes, some TV. It is a good barometer of the decay of society. And radio lets me know what they are doing behind the backs of Americans. On the other hand, I suppose that ignorance is bliss. :)

the best radio is ham radio, I had my ticket back in the 1970's I was WN0JSB .. you get the real news of what is REALLY going down when you working DX ..you are not getting the hogwash and diluted/revised "news" the gubbamint is wanting or wishing for you to believe.. I worked the Liberian Embassy once, and don't know what happened to all my QSL cards..I do Morse code and the whole 9 yards, but have forgotten more electronics theory than many have ever grasped.. LOL u

N0MEG here. I still have a lot of antennas on the roof but the radios have been boxed up and put away for years. But I still have most of them.

"Well, TV's were really heavy suckers and hard to carry back then!"

You hit the nail on the head with that.. I bought a 32" tube TV when I was younger. It took me and a friend both to lift it up 4' off the floor so that it could be viewed through out the room. Either of us could lift a VW short block engine easily I offered it for free to anyone who wanted it and a couple of really big guys came and got it down. Even they had a hard time of it.

I use my big screen mostly to watch movies when I get bored. It is awkward to deal with but at least it doesn't weigh 300 lbs. Most of the TV's that I have are hooked up to my DAW's. They make really good monitors for recording and editing photographs, at least at lower resolution. :)
