A group of activists and bloggers are calling for protests across the nation for the impeachment and conviction of Barack Obama.
The event is declared “National Impeach Obama Week” and starts on August 23rd.

If anything happens in my area I plan to try and be there but don't know yet.

Problem is, even if the people demand it, the Senate is still controlled by one Harry Reid, who has blocked over 340 bills so far by refusing to allow even a debate, much less a vote. He'll block any attempt at impeachment in less than 2 seconds. It is a desperately needed measure, but it won't happen until Reid is out of there and someone who actually wants to do his job in place.

Before we worry about impeachment, we need to end Democratic control of the Senate so it can actually have a chance at succeeding. I don't want to vote for any republicans either, especially of the establishment variety, but I'll have to in order to make this chance a reality. But for now, it's not much more than a pipe dream. Harry Reid has already shown he has no concern whatsoever for what the people want, he'll block it and we can do nothing until he's gone. And preferably prosecuted...

Impeach someone who can not prove he is even qualified to be President, who is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for murder, who is in for a second term ... the people of this great land have spoken already. Surely they hve not started to develop intellects, critical thought and a set.

Propaganda works on intelligent people because one doesn’t get the whole picture, and what one IS allowed to hear seems reasonable.
Yet there are always 2 sides to every story.
We are lust not allowed to hear both sides.

Propaganda works the best on people that don't like the target to begin with.

I bet some here think the word "impeach" has something to do with fruit. LOL (drum roll and cymbal hit)

Wow! So many great options, how this could end;
1 -you succeed, Joe Biden is sworn in as president, gets reelected
2-you succeed, Joe Biden is sworn in as president, steps aside, Hillary elected
3-you succeed in the House only, Obama wins
4-you lose in the House, OUCH!!
5-is there even one Bircher or other wing-nut out there who thinks there is an option other than the above?

OUCH, I think I just bit my tongue...yep there's the blood.

That's the other issue. We have nobody currently in line to take over that is even remotely viable as president. Biden, Pelosi, Holder, Boehner...all just as useless as what we have now.

There is one other option, wait and see if we can boot Reid out of the Senate, impeach every damn one of them and hold a special election.

It won't happen, and it's a no win situation. No matter how I look at it I don't see a viable solution. The people of this country should have stood up for themselves long ago and demanded the removal of at least the top half dozen people on the White House, and prosecution of most of them. Treason, violations of oaths of office, aiding and abetting criminals (fast & furious, trading 5 gitmo terrorists), Murder (drone killings of Americans abroad) and I'm sure there's more.

Thing is, the people have let this happen and have not stood up for their rights, have not held their so-called representatives accountable. And I don't expect it to happen any time soon.

What happened? This became a non-event?

There was a time to get rid of Obama. They sat on their hands. Couldn't get to the polls. Too busy looking at his "birth certificate" under a microscope. Undecided Voter is a scary enough character. We don't need even scarier ones coming out of the woodwork.

Sadly, I submit that it may be time to stop obsessing over who the 'leader' is. Reagan and Kennedy had personality big time but did they really accomplish anything? Blacks seemed to think that electing a black president would really help them - right...

The whole miserable edifice is corrupt. I don't want any of those bozos, right or left, in charge of my life.

Does Zero belong in jail? Of course. And so do the rest of that gang in Washington. I've come to the conclusion that this is not a political problem. It is spiritual. It does not please me to say that I just plain don't see it getting fixed.
