Years ago a chick offered me a Valium at a party. I thought about it and before swallowing the damned thing I just set it on my tongue to see what would happen. My tongue went numb.

One place Big Pharma is at fault and this is the big one, is doping the kids in school - particularly the boys.

When they get older many switch to mood control drugs that make one suicidal and / or homicidal.

So far they haven't identified any American mass shooter who was NOT on psychotropic drugs since the Texas Tower years ago and that guy had a brain tumor.

The black dude who shot 17 people in New Orleans the other day has been caught but not yet clear what his trigger was - if you'll pardon the pun.

IN MY OPINION,( and an attempt to bring this thread back to the roots)... Big pharma , Big gov. and all the careless management of individuals have caused more early deaths than ALL THE ILLEGAL GUNS.

BUT... That's just my opinion.

BTW- I stayed stoned to the gills for years and I never robbed anyone, nor did I ever have the DESIRE to rob anyone. I was taught that stealing was wrong.

So did I...THAT is my point. I could maintain my will and some semblance of a morality using coke, week, even LSD

But there were many many times that prescription drugs caused me to do things that I would never have done ordinarily, or while on other drugs. I have little doubt that it was "possible" that a little anger mixed with those drugs could have set me off to do something insane.
