...Lynard ... I thank you for your reply. Please let me give you a brief explanation of the Code of Bushido. Many people do not know about it so this is not uncommon ... many who are "martial artists" oddly enough.

The Code of Bushido is comprised of 7 Virtues. They are ...

Gi-Rectitude

Yu-Courage

Jin-Benevolence

Rei-Respect

Makoto-Honesty

Meiyo-Honour

Chugi-Loyalty

The concepts of Bushido were fathered by Confucius and developed during the 9th to 12th centuries in Japan. Bushido also takes elements from Shinto and Buddhism. Bushido spread throughout Asia and is found in China, Korea. Vietnam. Japan and many other places elsewhere today. The Chinese know it as the Way of The Warrior ... Japanese Kanji- The Warriors Way ... Old Korean Hanja- The Warriors Code.

Conceptually Bushido existed during the Kamakura Period in the 12th century. Bushido as an actual term saw extensive use in the 18th century during the Civil Wars. The Code of Bushido was "solidified" by Yamaga Soko in the Tokugawa Period 1622-1685. Shortly after this time the Okazaki Clan "founded" the Samauri. Bushido consequently spawned what is known as The Seven Virtues of The Samauri or The Samauri Code of Chivalry. I sincerely hope you find this both informative and thought provoking.

It is admirable that you have no difficulty in freely telling people who you are and what you think. At times I personally find some of it a bit difficult to follow but that is a small matter. Many Artists prefer to be non-political and always have done so. I am among them but the political filth, scum and lies are now so dangerous to us all and threaten our very existence that the time and ability of silence is for many over now. So it is much more difficult to ignore all this. This is one of the reasons for the serious aspects of my thread. But I understand how you feel in this respect.

Talking is simple communication like music. I disagree with you regarding "not changing". I believe things are changing really quite rapidly now. I completely agree with you on the government being completely out of control however. Believe me I do not think you any more "crazy" than any of us. But when you put forth some of the insults I do wonder at times ? This being said you no doubt can say the same about me I admit.

Insult most definately has it's place but here at this moment it is more important ...I feel ...that it is better by far to unite. There are many throughout the Forums and such who are being "placed" now to cause disunity and "gather" information. They are Traitors.

Stockpiling food and water is always a very good idea ... especially now. Being able to defend yourself and family is another. You are correct I believe in that "it's coming down soon" ... very soon. There is a creeping evil in the world and it uses Freedom against itself to gain control and power. It now threatens all of us, our Constitution and our Futures. It is completing the last phases of turning our government against us. "Talk" is sorely needed now to reawaken those who are able. There is a Police State and Martial Law in place now at this moment. The government is now the enemy.

These are the last moments in which rampant civil conflict can be avoided. But only if we unite and use our talents to reach others. I believe that the Internet, Speech, Music and other communications on any level possible is the only way to achieve this. This window has already begun to close on even this. Making a Last Stand on your own in your house bodes disaster and certain defeat. Uniting with others, even in thought, before the Police State is fully enforced and organizing various degrees of effective opposition within and under the Constitution is still possible even during these last moments. This is why I seek like minded musicians and people, and attempt to reawaken the Last Cadre that still exists. Music is a major part of the answer not "love", not insult and certainly not apathy.

All of us need not believe in all the same nor be gathered in one place to oppose and be effective. In reality it is far better if we are not. We need only agree and live to the Seven Virtues ... to become "one" of the Armie of Seven. Ta

Since we are talking bushido...

I will not hide my guns LD. I'd be hiding my honour with them.

Vampier

One reason I so detest the WW2 Japanese miltarists is that they corrupted bushido and used vestiges of it to get their men to do wicked, stupid and brutal things that disgraced them.

There were of course exceptions to that: Yamamoto comes to mind and my personal favorite, Gen. Kuribayashi whose famous haiku reminds me of Gen Lee, and perhaps explains why I consider it dishonorable as a patriot to hide my guns fromt the oppressors:

"Death is light as a feather
But duty is heavier than a mountain."

...Mike Talbot I thank you for your Post. Very well stated. There "should" be absolutely no reason to hide one's guns since this is the United States and we have the Constitution and Second Amendment.

I assume that you are aware of what happened and went on in the aftermath of Katrina ? I have always enjoyed reading your Posts. I understand and agree with you regarding how you feel regarding one's Honour.

What you relate regarding the Japanese in WWII is correct. There was much dishonour and atrocity. There were and still are some very Honourable Japanese who actually live by Bushido...although I believe their numbers to be rapidly dwindling.

I have always been puzzled by General Lee's command during Gettysburg. For me it wa somewhat out of character. Why he disregarded Longstreet also remains a mystery for me.

The world is so corrupted now it is difficult to find any purity, Honour or responsibility. Even in Japan the "officials" are taking no responsibility for their action/inaction regarding Fukushima. Those responsible should perform seppuku. Once again Thank You. Ta

Vampier, the Code of Bushido, looks easier to type
then to live by. I think it all boils down to our own moral
compass we have in our lives. Not the Code of Bushido,
nor Christianity, nor Muslim or any other religion is the answer,
the answer is in each of us. I've worked to hard in my life
to achieve what I have, to take any sh*t from some construction
worker from TX, who will never achiever what I have both
physically and spiritually. These are word games on here and
I enjoy playing sometimes, sometimes I don't. You know here
in SWMO it seems many are not scared of the Muslims or the
Christians, or even the gov't. There stockpiling their ammo and
guns for when it comes down to protect our selves from the
starving masses from the east that will be headed this way,
because they didn't prepare.

Talbot I hide my guns by only buying unregistered firearms,
so the gov't doesn't know what I have. Sure you can buy all
guns you want at Wal-Mart, but then they know. It's not just me
either Mike, unregistered guns at auctions around here will bring
the same price as new ones or even more. People are paying
for this, to keep their guns out of the gov't registry. Why let
them know what you've amassed? I wish I was wrong but, this
country is going to hell in a handbasket, take care of your own.

I don't want any trouble, but I'm not backing down to anybody.
Clearly I've insulted a few, only after being insulted myself, I don't
think I look for fights anymore, but I won't back down, and I can't
be beat.

The Code of Lynard

1. Don't call the cops on me

2. Don't phukk with my family and friends.

We assume alot about each other on this forum, right or wrong,
and I know I'm also guilty of this practice. If you ain't got your
own house in order, why advice someone else on their house?

Peace to you and yours.

... PaperDog ... there truly are brains behind your bite. My compliments. Hogan's Heroes, yet another memory ...Colonel Klink and all the cotroversy around Bob Crane's death. Well done PaperDog.

Truth is a five letter word not a four letter word ? ... so is Blood and the same can be applied to Honor/Honour depending which spelling one prefers. It seems that for centuries men have spoken the Truth, spoken about the Truth and held the Truth as Sacred. I wonder what Patrick Henry would say ? We all must tolerate fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and other blood sucking parasites of the lower orders ... swatting them when we can. Only "puppetmasters" pull strings. All my "buddies" in the music industry are but poor musicians like myself and all of our ambitions are of a more spiritual and personal nature ... like many of the real musicians on this Forum who have real music. My "version" of Truth is not for sale. PaperDog congratulations for your "handling" of the troll and putting up with the troll spew. One would think that between what Etu, G;en, others and yourself have translated, interpreted and explained ... that my words would be clear ? It seems that someone has a bit of an obsession with Pol Pot ... naturally.

"Geewillikers"

Gomer Pyle Profound word by a real artist/musician with a
beautiful voice.

I only recently read about some "revelations" that resulted from some sattelite imagery of India which proved the existence of a great river and cities mentioned in ancient texts that have long since dried up and became buried. They were considered mytholory as put forth by British explorers. This also casts some new light about Aryans, Afghanistan and misthought history. It is worth checking out. The Nazi's were "on" to some very interesting things ... even those centered around searching for the Ayrans in Tibet etc. I find these subjects both fascinating and educational and helpful understanding the situation today.

Lynard ... I thank you for making your views crystal clear. I agree with you wholeheartedly regarding the registry of guns. All of my families weapons were unregistered... my Father insisted upon this as did my Grandfathers.

Scott ... It is good to see you are back ... your absence was noted. I did miss your Posts. Ta

"so the gov't doesn't know what I have. " Sorry bro - didn't get what you meant. iI'm totally cool with that. Not their business.

Understand that I have heard a lot of 'tough guys' bragging on losing their guns in a boating accident. Yeah...

Re Gettysburg

I hold both Lee and Longstreet accountable.

If Lee had been commanding like he did subsequently at the Wilderness, we'd not have fallen under the yoke.

I'd add though, if Lee's plan had been better timed and executed by his subordinates on the third day he would have pulled off something rarely seen, a battle of annihaltion - the Napoleonic stroke he always sought.

At Gettysburg, Lee was looking to Longstreet for the raw aggression he'd seen in him at 2nd Manassas and despite his sulking, I Corps on the second day at Gettysburg defeated 14 yankee brigades. In war though, timing is everything. ("the best three hours fighting of the war")

Longstreet shouild have obeyed his commander promptly instead of dragging his feet - even if he did disagree. He remained uneven later- smashing the Yanks at Chickamauga but later acting a fool until he got sent back to VA. Then again at the Wilderness he too, showed what he had to offer with a sword in his hand.

Longstreet was, at his beset, the equal of Jackson, a bludgeon in Lee's fist.

Gomer was actually much more known for: "Shazam!", "G-o-l-l-y", "Sur-prise, sur-prise, sur-prise!", and "shame, shame, shame!",

Leave It To Beaver and Dennis the Menace were much more likely to say "Geewillikers" .... sometimes, and sometimes not prefaced by a "Golly". :D

...Mike Talbot... thankyou so much for your excellent Post. I freely admit that my knowledge of exacting details upon this subject is limited and no where near yours . It is both refreshing and reassuring to hear yours.

I am in complete agreement regarding General Lee and "The Wilderness". That is one of the factors that made Gettysburg so puzzeling to me. I also agree that as long as one has a battle plan which is not limited in scope in that it includes both what to do if successful and what must be done if it fails, then a "Battle of Annihilation is a distinct possibility. Further in order for this to happen it can not be a "static" plan. Napoleon was both a Great Military Leader and also one in the "Civil" field as well ...in my opinion.

When I lived in England I had many rather heated and Boddington's fueled arguments result when I stated that I felt Napoleon to be far greater than Wellington. Of course this was quite natural if not by location only ... I never once had the same argument when I lived in France.

What you related explains much about Gettysburg and upon closer scrutiny (which I immediately did) ... wel it truly is excellent. Ta

I once sang all the verses of "Battle of New Orleans" to a bunch of Brits who'd been mocking our defeat in VN. 8)

As to Nap vs Wellington. Both were very good but Wellington never had the opportunity to do anything as big as Napoleon pulled off.

From a piece I wrote for LewRockwell.com on the French, specific to Waterloo: "The French won the glory, the Germans won the battle, and the British took the credit!"

And so it was. Only 15k Brits on the field though they did fight very well and lost half their men, it was the German KGL, Hanoverian and Brunswick psuedo mercernarys together with Blucher's Prussians who did the did the primary work.

...very interesting to hear the political prattle. Mike Talbot is correct about the qualities an elected "Leader" must have ... very true words. Slacker has excellent comments as well. Even Dane has some credible and very true remarks about what can happen.

Ut is hard for me to believe that so many however still think it makes a difference who or what you "vote" for and that they actually once again believe what these Liars say as they vie to be elected ???? Fisherman Bob is charmingly naive in his post I believe.

How is it that every four years so many suffer dementia and memory loss as well as losing their critical thinking process ??? Obama is the first black President and the first utterly illegitimate one. Everything he spoke of before election has been nothing more than empty promises and everything he speaks of as President turns out to be a covert lie or a blatant lie. Romeney... Obama ...any politician now are all one in the same....Clinton ...Bush ... Carter...all of the scum.

They all have the same agenda ... all their puppet strings lead back to the same few depraved and sordid evil who wish to turn the planet into a charnel house. When if ever will those who vote, campaign and "believe" wake up, realize they have and are being ?played" and that they are mere laughing stock to those they think they "elect" ???

Make no mistake ... regardless of who is "elected" puke ... poke ...they intend to take the guns, destroy the middle class, plunder as much as they can, sell out to the UN and then world government, They mean to exterminate most and torture those who remain "alive". They have already proven themselves and their intentions countless times. They molest an, murder and eat children ... yours. They grow more audacious in proportion to your ignorance. Reawaken if you can. Ta

Why would they want to take away your guns? Advances in weapons technology will render your pop guns obsolete soon enough anyway. They will really like to see you get more of them. After Christians and Muslims kill each other shooting it out ... after the right wing wakos and left wing wakos kill each other shooting it out .. a lot of their work will have been done for them. Send in some drones and robots to clean up whatever's left moving. A smaller population will be a lot easier to control. :D

our 'pop guns' will not be obsolete as long as oppressors fear death.

A .22 long rifle can kill you just as dead as a hydrogen bomb.
