What would happen if we just made friends with the Russians I wonder.

A Russian pal of mine died last night. Cancer. Been following my writing for years and was a pretty cool guy. I can't imagine why our 'leaders' want to fight the Russians and be buddies with the Saudis (who knocked our towers down.) It boggles the mind.
