The earth has been warming since the end of the ice age 14,000 years ago Wayyyy before the industrial revolution at the end of the 19th century. Man has very little to do with it, if at all. I forgot that the repubrats have 'all knowing' information to be able to do things like track global temperatures to before modern man was even walking around. The science of temperature measurement only began in the 17th century.

BTW, I had a fantastic time, flew into Anchorage (with my wife), took a glacier cruise, went into Denali National Park a couple of days, went all the way up to Fairbanks (and 'North Pole' one day. beautiful country up there.

If I would have said that it could not be hot in Houston while it was snowing in Dallas ... the Texans would have laughed me out of town.

'Kenai' No, 80 can occasionally be expected in the last 2 weeks of July, but not in Denali NP or Fairbanks in mid-June.

He said it gets up to 90 up there. Mosquitoes are so bad he has to wear a net over his head long sleeves when fishing. We like to brag about everything being bigger here in Texas but those mosquitoes on Kenai will carry you off!
