why IS Scalise's voting record and behavior off limits to discuss? personally, not knowing much about him, i find learning more about him and his politics to be a good thing. Other's might see it as bad timing but he WAS shot because he's a politician albeit by a nutball.

So where is Joy Reid "JUSTIFYING" Scalise getting shot with her statement.....

nope.....she's not. now, you might think her bringing up his politics and voting record to be in poor taste while he's still in the hospital. fair enough. but in no way are those comments attempts at "justifying" the shooter's action.

This Congresswoman just excused the deranged shooter by giving him justification based on her corrupt version of the truth. So do you also think that anyone who opposed gay marriage on any grounds whatsoever can be justifiably shot? She didn't say, "We have disagreements on politics but I wish him a speedy recovery so we can go back to representing our constituents and working out our disagreements in a civil and legal forum". Anyone who doesn't think race should be a consideration when it comes to civil rights is only abiding by the Constitution, which goes against everything the Democrat Party stands for anymore. It is the policies and practices of Obama that separated this country into a thousand tribes. Before him, we could have civil disagreements without threat of violence.

I have not read it quite yet but I know the primary criticism is it tastes a bit "primitive". Glen ... sent me the recipe a while ago and this week i have slated to make some ... depending upon George's recommendations, I may alter it. But I am looking forward to trying it.

It was very nice of Glen to Post it and also for George to comment upon it. It seems that most of us "Dinosaurs can utilize it in some way. Talbot seems to be dealing with some serious issues and I look forward to see how it works on everyone ... including you. Here it is difficult at this time of year to get all the ingredients ... the desert meets the sea. Oddly there is always a plentiful supply of "Bud Light" poison however.

Yod is being polite and patient with pg. I admire his perseverance in the face of such rudeness and ignorance. He is a better person than I regarding this. Please accept my apologies for "causing" such a stir, but I could see pg was being true to his un-pc agenda and after witnessing this spectacle far too many times ... This just happened in the last month.
My 28 year old daughter had a mini stroke.
She has a a hole in her heart . Repair can kill her, not repairing it can kill her. She's my little baby girl, grown up...

Wow... I can't tell her what to do.

It is in the mid 90's here in H-town don't know how many of you have been to Houston that temp combined with our infamous humidity is unbearable. Anyhow when the going gets tough the tough get going. The internal swelling is diminishing in my shoulder. I have a game plan now and feel better. Meeting with an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow. I even went back to work yesterday. I'm not suppose to but too bad I have to. I talked with the BA at work. She went through the same thing with a broke foot and facing a lot of time off. I have decided to work light duty until the surgery and use my massive amount of sick time and vacation to get through the recovery and PT. I don't have long and short term disability.

Thanks Ted, I spent the weekend with intermittent air conditioning. The maintenance here replaced the evaporator coils yesterday. Now I truly have a new system. They replaced the condensing unit 2 years ago.
