as Slacker correctly pointed out, the Old Testament and The New Testament are two complete different animals.. we do not live under the precepts of the Old Testament as Christians.. jews possibly use the Old Testament in today's world, you would have to ask the Boss about that one ..

I do not will death onto gays.. if God dictates that punishment as per the way you read into it, then maybe you had ought to try crusading the gay bars and telling them to stop that behavior which again, if that's the way you read into the scriptures is a sin worthy of death since it is such an abominable and UN-NATURAL act if only in God's eyes and not thine

you got the wrong guy. i'm neither threatened by gays nor do i find what they do abhorant. It's their choice and it's not MY place to judge them, nor declare their behavior against GOD's will.

Dayne ...Paying attention to Planet Guy's interpretation of the Bible or the Quran is like asking me to speak of The Hag's "Good Points". We must keep perspective in all this. Many of us have already chosen sides and because of this we often Post simply to disagree and state our point of view. In reality none of us are significant, qualified or totally knowledgeble about what we speak. Of course this does not stop us from having opinions and at times credible ones. But none of us have access to the sources of which we speak. Quoting mass media sources as legitement is laughable.

Your Posts are quite good I feel at times and I have respect for your viewpoints even when I do not agree with them. I know I have at times been flagrant with you and know that a great part of this is because I like you and would prefer us to share the same view. I can say the same about others here as well. The important thing is that this is a real Forum and that is becoming increasingly rare. Guitar Mike does a good job considering that no matter what he does or states will be disagreed upon by someone. I do not envy him in this and the fact that he is courageous enough to state his own personal views in the fray speaks much. I respect him as well.

Planet Guy is another excepting he has the dubious ability to seem to really get under the skin of not only myself but some others as well. I have grown to expect this and indeed on a few things i am in agreement with him. Regardless I have come to like him in a strange way and without him here it would simply not be the same..

I feel that no matter who wins or what happens ... things will never ever be the same again. For those of us ... the dinosaurs who remember ... perhaps even these memories will fade as we fade away. This will be a shame.
