Looks like Newt Gingrich is a VP candidate.
If so, that would cement Trump as a conservative and it's a shrewd move because Gingrich knows how to navigate Congress, something Trump will need desperately.
But I'd guess that Gulianni is also on that list...
At this point there is no more reason to be resentful that Christian leaders sold the Constitutional Conservative movement down the river for cash. I would expect the non-believer to choose the strong man who isn't held by any religious conviction...but I sure didn't see that treachery coming from Falwell, Robertson, Jeffries, et al.
Robertson has been senile for 25+ years, Falwell inherited the "religious right" from his dad, and Jeffries has no excuse.
But they will not be forgiven for that betrayal this side of heaven. Maybe not on the other side either...guess we'll see.
